Cannot think of any reason to leave a ballot undated unless the voter does not fathom the concept of time or is leaving the date off intentionally to hide that it is late.

So the highest court in the Commonwealth rules on this and Fetterman sues for the same thing. What’s that thing Einstein once said?

Just hold the lawyer in contempt, jail him and fine him. File a formal complaint with the BAR for Abuse of Process.

That has been Decided already. Make the shyster a barrista

1. State law requires that voters handwrite a date on the outer envelope

2. Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled last week that undated and wrongly dated mail ballots be set aside and not counted.

3. Fettergoon goes to a federal judge to order that all mail ballots be counted regardless of what date, if any, voters wrote on the outside of the envelope.

I'm speechless. They never quit.

What am I missing?

There are several ways to deliver a ballot, not all require the USPS. Thanks RINOs for Act 77, which is clearly unconstitutional, but RINOs will RINO. It ain’t fixed.

Why don't Democrats understand rules?

Play poker and invent your own rules, and you might get the whooping of your life (or worse).

Festus is in big trouble when he loses this race. Out of a gubmint paycheck, bum ticker, back to the basement and his video games, his bisexual conniving shrew of a wife dumps his loser ass in search of another train ride.

So he wants to represent Pennsylvania and its citizens in the US Senate, but he won’t accept the law passed by the Pennsylvania legislature which was upheld by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court?

If I lived in PA, I sure as heck wouldn’t want somebody who hates and has disdain for PA, its citizens, its legislature and its Supreme Court representing me in the US Senate. What a gross insult to the people and institutions of PA.

If the date doesn’t matter, why require it on any ballot?

Stop asking logical questions! ;-)

“Seems odd they would have to write a date.”

I’ve had to sign and date every absentee ballot I’ve ever submitted. I’ve had to sign and date every legal document I’ve executed.

But you raise an interesting point. I wonder what the PA law says. Is it the date written by the voter that counts? The postmark date? The date the mailed ballot was received by the registrar?

The law says they can’t be counted. The PA Supremes stepped in to ignore the law in 2020, COVID and all that, which created a furor.

Unlikely they will flaunt the law twice in a row.

The PA state Supreme Court has already ruled. I don’t see a federal judge getting involved and overturning them.

It’s like when you “sign and date” any legal document. Both are legally necessary. And it is in your own handwriting and ink. A postmark isn’t you; it’s a machine at the post office.

Anyone who needed an example of the usefulness of armed FBI agents sent to the polling places has another one.
“Count those ballots. We have three weapons trained on you right now. No voter suppression, pal.”

I live in rural N Nevada.

Because of Covid & other problems, we can mail the ballot early—OR-—drop it off in person AT the location we always used to VOTE IN PERSON. Between 10 Am & 2 PM.

OR I could DRIVE over 50 miles round trip either North or South to vote in person. That is a gasoline cost burden. I told her it was total bullshit that we would have to drive that far to vote in person. This valley probably has over 3600 registered voters-—if not more.

When I asked the county offices why we couldn’t vote in person, she said they “Didn’t have enough poll workers”.

I Never heard a single PLEA for poll workers.
