Lt. Gov. John Fetterman’s campaign for U.S. Senate has joined the legal fight over whether mail ballots with no date or the incorrect date should be counted in Tuesday’s election.
The Democratic campaign sued Pennsylvania elections officials Monday asking a federal judge to order that all mail ballots be counted regardless of what date, if any, voters wrote on the outside of the envelope.
State law requires that voters handwrite a date on the outer envelope when returning their mail ballots, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled last week that undated and wrongly dated mail ballots be set aside and not counted. The court issued a follow-up order Saturday setting specific date ranges that the handwritten dates must fall within.

I despise cheaters.
I would think that if they can drop them off at their polling place, they should be able to vote in person.
But then, I am not a Dem looking for ways to cheat on an Election...
Just went to an Oz rally last night. There was plenty of excitement. Enjoyed it.
Prolly 5-10%% have a legitimate reason for needing to drop them off, work etc, but the rest are likely part of the STEAL.
If the date doesn’t matter, why require it on any ballot?
They have over 4 million brand new voters that just crossed the border since the last election. They’ve been strategically placed where they make the most difference, I’m sure.
I recall something about ballots marked with dates that preceded the ballots being mailed to the voters.

Exactly. Now he wants to change the election rules now that he is behind. No Judge should allow this.
SCOTUS vacated a lower court decision that allowed the ballots without dates to be counted. The Rs then sued in PA court to make sure the law view of SCOTUS was followed. The PA supreme court agreed with the R’s. I see no chance the federal court will hear this case again.
Think purpose of a postmark on legal stuff, think perjury for falsely submitting . . .
lol..... Impaired Fettterman wants all his impaired voters to vote for him. The ones who are too effen stupid to properly fill out an absentee ballot and write the proper date on the mailing envelope. Or write any date on the envelope.
I am blaming IMPAIRED and stupid Democrat vote harvesters, for screwing up the mail in ballots they grabbed from the illiterate, the brain damaged, nursing home residents and so on and so on
Good to hear that.
You see, Fetterman, being a mentally-disabled American himself has a natural sympathy for voters who can’t follow simple instructions like “hand write the date on the outside envelope”.
He is reacting to a ruling by the PA Supreme Court outlawing those ballots. Fetterman will get a judge to get a stay on the SC ruling. They will then count all those ballots. And Fetterman will win.
Ugly.
That needs to be tossed with extreme prejudice.
Why don’t they just legislate to make their cheating legal? That’s all this amounts to.
Supposing Democrats were NOT cheating by generating bogus ballots. Then why do they always think it is to their advantage to count ballots that can’t be verified? Might they just as well suspect that its a wash that helps neither side? But if the ARE generating bogus ballots, then it is perfectly understandable they want the standards for validating ballots as low as possible.
Going nowhere. The PA Supreme Court ruled otherwise (surprisingly). The US Supreme Court has said that the federal courts have no place in state elections.
