November brings Nicole and mid-term elections. Nicole has developed with subtropical characteristics in the Atlantic Ocean, taking aim for storm weary Florida.
A subtropical system has some central convection fairly near the center surrounding a warming core existing in the mid-levels of the troposphere. Nicole may further develop into a tropical storm.

Pray anyway but I see now it shouldn’t affect the flight.

What I've heard thus far is that it could get breezy, with some showers along the E Coast.
In girl speak: Spritz of hair spray, skip the umbrella, take a rain jacket or poncho instead.

This one is headed for my mother’s home. My brother is there. It will be his first hurricane. He’s in denial. Oh well.

My tomatoes and corn rode Ian out in the dirt. I only lost 4. Two have tomatoes on them now. Corn success is TBD. I don’t think it likes enriched sand.
To: numberonepal
A few of my leafy landscape plants suffered from wind burn with Ian. We don’t do corn around here. Mostly because of insect pests. The corn requires too much pesticide to produce a decent crop. Not appetizing with all the chemicals.
