Amid reports former President Donald Trump had to be talked out of making his 2024 presidential campaign declaration Saturday night in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Trump teased a potential announcement Monday night in Ohio.
"I ran twice, I won twice, and I did much better the second time than I did the first, getting millions and millions more votes in 2020 that we got in 2016 – and likewise getting more votes than any sitting president in the history of our country by far," Trump told his Save America rally in Miami, Florida, on Sunday night, which aired live on Newsmax.
"And, now in order to make our country successful, safe, and glorious, I will probably have to do it again.
"But stay tuned."
Instead of his recent "very, very, very" soon teases in rallies this week, Trump suggesting something might be coming Monday night at his rally for J.D. Vance in Ohio.
"Stay tuned tomorrow night in the great state of Ohio," Trump continued, teasing his long-awaited 2024 presidential announcement with Vance on the eve of the 2022 midterm elections' final votes.
"We have to win a historic victory for Republicans on Tuesday."
Trump presidential adviser Dick Morris has told Newsmax on Saturday that Trump is repeatedly being held back in announcing officially for 2024 in order to give the GOP midterm candidates the spotlight before Tuesday.

Have none of you who are for one or the other thought of a Trump-DeSantis ticket? Trump can only serve one more term, but would set up Ron as the presumptive nominee in ‘28, with a very good shot at winning. 12 years of them would give us a chance to restore our Republic.
Oh, and yes I am aware that Trump will need to reestabish residency elsewhere, as you can’t have both from the same state.
I doubt if Trump will announce tonight. He’s just trying to get as big of a crowd as possible for his rally with Vance tonight.

I’m not a big fan of DeSantis, regardless of whether Trump runs again or not. Sure he’s done a good job as Governor of FL, but ultimately I don’t trust him. He’s highly dependent on Establishment consultants and Establishment money. I believe he’s personally ambitious and latched onto the Trump/MAGA movement, more to advance his career than out of strong principle. There’s something slick and phony about him that I don’t like. And I believe his success in Florida has had less to do with any great gifts he has and more to do with the fact that the Democrats have moved their focus to other states and away from Florida. 2020 showed that, with cheating, they could win without Florida.
As a result, DeSantis has faced little resistance to his policies in Florida. The GOP Establishment wants to use Florida as a showcase to build him up as an alternative to Trump, and the Dems are playing along because they also see advantage in building up DeSantis’s image as an alternative to Trump. Allowing DeSantis to succeed in Florida is a small price to pay for the Uniparty when the real prize is to maintain control of the Federal Government.
This is the way the Uniparty thinks and acts and it’s how they’ve conned us all these years. Patriots need to be less gullible and stop falling for it.
