Trump Teases '24 Call: 'Stay Tuned' for Monday Night in Ohio

Amid reports former President Donald Trump had to be talked out of making his 2024 presidential campaign declaration Saturday night in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Trump teased a potential announcement Monday night in Ohio.

"I ran twice, I won twice, and I did much better the second time than I did the first, getting millions and millions more votes in 2020 that we got in 2016 – and likewise getting more votes than any sitting president in the history of our country by far," Trump told his Save America rally in Miami, Florida, on Sunday night, which aired live on Newsmax.

"And, now in order to make our country successful, safe, and glorious, I will probably have to do it again.

"But stay tuned."

Instead of his recent "very, very, very" soon teases in rallies this week, Trump suggesting something might be coming Monday night at his rally for J.D. Vance in Ohio.

"Stay tuned tomorrow night in the great state of Ohio," Trump continued, teasing his long-awaited 2024 presidential announcement with Vance on the eve of the 2022 midterm elections' final votes.

"We have to win a historic victory for Republicans on Tuesday."

Trump presidential adviser Dick Morris has told Newsmax on Saturday that Trump is repeatedly being held back in announcing officially for 2024 in order to give the GOP midterm candidates the spotlight before Tuesday.

BUahahahahahahaha! Arm chair psychology? You must have a small one.

Just the type of low intellect response to be expected.

You really don’t get it? He was mocking you by engaging in the same sort of arm chair psychology you used when you “determined” that Trump is insecure.

Trump talks to journalists like Haberman and Woodward to troll them or make them lie.And then demonstrates what these corrupt journalists do publicly.

There have been dozens of books slamming Trump, making him look bad, all with quotes from Trump himself that make him look like a fool or worse. So what exactly is Trump's benefit from all this?

Those books would have been written whether Trump spoke with the authors or not. If anything, speaking with them before hand makes it easier for him to call them out on their misreporting. There may also be some other benefit Trump gleans from personally interacting with them. If you’re good at reading people you may learn a lot from your enemy that he/she never intended to reveal. Good Poker players engage in this sort of thing all the time.

Every single one was written with Trump's active assistance using his own words.

If anything, speaking with them before hand makes it easier for him to call them out on their misreporting.

I'm not aware of a single one that proved Trump misquoted himself. He set himself up and put his foot in it.

There may also be some other benefit Trump gleans from personally interacting with them.

Like?

If you’re good at reading people you may learn a lot from your enemy that he/she never intended to reveal.

Other than make him look bad what did Trump reveal in any of these cases?

"It is time to move on. I want DeSantis in 2024."

You're right, it is time for you to move on. DesantisFormerFreepers.com.

There you will be greeted with a song, a dance, and a lotta sand in your pants. LOFL.

No I want someone who is disciplined and not prone to unforced errors.

No actually, I supported Trump in 2016 and 2020 unlike the never Trumpers on Free Republic at the time (2016).

I am ready to move on from the undisciplined, unforced errors that plagues Trump. If Trump can be more disciplined, that is fine too.

Unlike you, I can support and be critical of Trump. I am just not in a cult.

"I agree. I voted for Trump both times and will vote for him again if he’s the nominee, but it would be nice if, just once, he could show some self-control. We have suburban moms flocking to our Republican candidates and that kind of announcement would hurt those candidates."

Rush: "Karl in California, ok."

Karl: "Going back to Obamacare and how he got into the White House, I was looking at...when we repealed the 18A, and 26A gave 18-year-olds the right to vote, if we're going to look back on this, and this is where the problem was started..."

Rush: "Nah, I can give you one better than that, when women were given the right to vote is when it all went downhill. Because that's, that's when votes started to be cast based on emotion, and maternal intincts that government 'ought to reflect'."

My wife feels very strongly that women voting was the poison for our Republic. They want security and security is socialism and welfare.

"Unlike you, I can support and be critical of Trump. I am just not in a cult."

This was your first post to FreeRepublic.com: "I live in extremely BLUE California, in extremely BLUE LA County, in Palos Verdes. I see Biden signs everywhere. I received a mail in ballot but I am going to vote in person. I don’t trust USPS at all!"

So I can say to you, you brag your vote doesn't matter worth a damn, and since you aren't smart enough to move away from an "extremely BLUE LA County", I measure your opinion the same way.

“Every single one was written with Trump’s active assistance using his own words.”

Right. And if he hadn’t actively assisted, they would have still been written and they still would have been hit pieces that but would have been even more reliant on “anonymous sources”, rumor and innuendo.

“There may also be some other benefit Trump gleans from personally interacting with them.

Like?”

Let me give you some examples. When having these types of interviews there is usually preliminary talk, greetings, etc. before the direct questioning commences. During this kind of small talk, you can often learn some things the person never intended to reveal. A simple question like “How’s so-and-so doing?” may lead to a response that reveals something the person never intended to reveal. The mood of the enemy can also be useful information. Are they cocky? Do they look worried? Do they look to be acting independently or are they doing someone else’s bidding? Useful information to someone who knows what they’re looking for.

Well Ron DeSantis is on the brink of selling out to the establishment/deep state uniparty for 30 pieces of silver so he isn’t going to get you to the promised land.

Then there are some things you failed to learn from the experience. We were warned that Trump was going to self-destruct throughout both the 2016 and 2020 campaigns. Those concerns proved to be unfounded. Every time he “self-destructs” he seems to gain in popularity. He won in 2016 and he won by an even larger margin in 2020.

Now the question of why Trump was not able to prevent 2020 from being stolen is a legitimate question, but the answer doesn’t necessarily reflect poorly on Trump. The DS is a formidable enemy. You can criticize Trump for not defeating them in the 4 years of his first term, but to assume a professional politician like DeSantis would have been more successful under the circumstances is ludicrous.

You are actually basing your opinion of Trump on the US publishing industry, which is concentrated entirely in one tiny corner of Manhattan?

Or perhaps you feel affinity towards that 'tiny corner of Manhattan' as most of Canada shares their worthless sentiments; not quite so the rest of US.

And you expect me to regard with any kind of seriousness, a Canuck ruled by a Communist Gen-X'r who married his grandma? You cretins haven't managed to elect anyone to to the right of Mao since last century, so I will tell you the same thing your Beloved Blackface Leader would tell you: Go eat your cold poutine and sit in the corner.

What should I be basing it on?

What you regard with any seriousness is of absolutely no interest to me.

Go eat your cold poutine and sit in the corner.

No, I plan on watching the fun. I'll save the poutine for some other time.

Your own free will, rather than what American publishers who freely supported anti-Trumpers with the promise of windfall book advances (right down to the nom de plume "Anonymous", who truly was Anonymous personified -- no one knew him and he had nothing to say). But you go right on sucking farts out of Toronto's subways seats, eh -- isn't that your own "nom de plume", Lower Deck?

And yet Trump gave interviews to each and every one of those books.

Nope. I'm in Halifax.
