A report that aired on 'Today' was pulled after it went viral on Twitter

NBC News caused a firestorm on social media after it retracted its explosive reporting on last week's attack of Paul Pelosi.
On Friday's installment of "Today," NBC News national correspondent Miguel Almaguer went viral for stunning revelations of what apparently transpired when police arrived to Pelosi's San Francisco home.
Sources familiar with what unfolded in the Pelosi residence now revealing when officers responded to the 'high priority call,' they were seemingly unaware they've been called to the home of the Speaker of the House," Almaguer told viewers. "After a 'knock and announce,' the front door was opened by Mr. Pelosi. The 82-year-old did not immediately declare an emergency or tried to leave his home but instead began walking several feet back into the foyer toward the assailant and away from police.

Almaguer concluded his report by telling "Today" co-host Craig Melvin "we still don't know exactly what unfolded between Mr. Pelosi and the suspect for the 30 minutes they were alone inside that house before police arrive. Officials who are investigating this matter would not go into further details about these new details."

Being as how this is Paul P. and San Francisco, we don’t have to be clairvoyant to know what what was going on. Some say there are women who can drive a guy to being gay.
Pretty sure Nancy P. (and Hillary for that matter) top the list . . .
The pelosis got to NBC and told them to remove the offensive statement of the truth.
Now we know there is a coverup. Prominent democrats get a free pass from the cops and the media. Ted Kennedy, Chappaquiddick.
Something happening that night, but it wasn’t a Trump supporter breaking in and attacking the male pelosi with a hammer. That story was fabricated afterwards and fed to the press. One media outlet didn’t conform, and was quickly silenced.
Someone please tell me how such a phrase lends any credibility to this, or any, story.

I’m sure a lot of people here saw the George Clooney move “Michael Clayton.” I think it’s possible that Nancy Pelosi made a call to her law firm that morning and they got their “fixer” out there to control this story.
The NBC story may have been retracted simply because the police, prosecutors are changing the record at the instigation of a Pelosi legal representative.
This break-in coming so soon the the DWI/Car Accident suggests to me that Nancy has been ‘managing’ her own family “Biden Problem” and it suddenly got worse — a lot worse.
... and covering the same “materials”.
If the two men didn’t know each other, why did he refer to Depape as a friend and tell the cops everything is okay?
We should not all fall into the same trap of having blinders on and sticking to a narrative that fits our desired view when an even simpler explanation that fits the known facts exists.
No matter what proclivities P. Pelosi has:
The fact is this guy was mentally ill, as his left wing girlfriend described. There are no facts that tie him to the right or MAGA, with most of the facts pointing towards him leaning left towards BLM & LGB+alphabet groups (displayed outside his residence in Berkley). I believe here we just have a left wing nutcase that decided Nancy was the root of all his problems. However we want the gay lovers tryst gone bad to be truth, more and more I am think it was just the case of a left wing San Francisco nutcase gone bad.
Authorities still say they will not release body-worn camera footage from the responding officers — which would quickly clear up the disparity between what Almaguer reported and what the FBI affidavit stated — nor the 911 call Pelosi placed.
The U.S. Capitol Police have also said they are not planning to release footage their cameras recorded ..
NBC accidentally let the cat out of the bag, that this whole “event” was staged so that Nancy could once again play the victim and weaponize it against her political opponents. Much like how she staged the January 6th “insurrection” so that she could get a starring role for herself and her party.

I have often wondered why it is that Conservatives are called the “right” and Liberals are called the “left” By chance I stumbled upon this verse in the Bible:
Ecclesiastes 10:2 - “The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.”
It surely can’t get any simpler than that.

The lack of security is BS, imo. Another thing... Nancy praises the cops response... standing there watching a dude bash your husband with a hammer and we’re supposed to believe she was fine with that? Nancy hates everyone eunless they are covering for her.

Perhaps Pelosi bought a Romper Room play set and invited his pal over to pound square pegs into round holes.
DA Brooke Jenkins’s ‘Statement of the Facts’ has holes all over it and looks like it was put together by someone with less than high school education... well, she is after all no doubt a diversity hire although I suppose it copied some of what was in the PD Incident Report verbatim. There are so many holes, one wonders if it will be withdrawn and extensively revised.
The NBC piece obviously relied heavily on this document but there are two obvious questions... 1. I think NBC piece indicated that the ‘Dave’ was in the house for 30 minutes before the police arrived. That does not appear in the DA’s statement... unless I missed it. Page 4 says that ‘Dave’ was at Pelosi’s bed ‘just after 2 am’... as I recall, the 911 call was made at 2:27 and the police were there in a couple of minutes so I suppose this is where NBC came up with their 30 minutes. 2. The NBC piece made it sound like Pelosi moved from the presence of the police to go toward where Dave was after the door was oened... but the ‘Statement of Facts’ seems to indicate that Pelosi always had one hand on the hammer at the same time as Dave until after Pelosi opened the door with his one hand. Either NBC made this up (possibly) or they were fed this from someplace else (possibly). The DA’s document references the Police Department Incident Report 220-741-717 .... that might be an interesting document to look at.
I was surprised at how exposed that house is to the street. But I’d be willing to bet it has better security than just some schlub staring at a monitor. Whether it can be disabled if someone is expecting “guests” is another matter.
I’m sure that address is flagged in the 911 database. And if there’s only a handful of addresses the cops know without being told, this should be one of them.
They might not recognize Paul Pelosi by sight, especially not under such strange circumstances.
U.S. Capitol Police are, I believe, Feds, and their jurisdiction is probably restricted to their protectees.
Disasters large and small are rarely caused by one single thing going wrong. Usually there is a cascade of little things that create a perfect storm.
