There’s a reason I refer to Joe Biden as “His Lying Demented Fraudulence.” Besides being a demented fraud, Biden lies every time his crooked lips move, and he’s been lying to America for a half-century. While speaking about Social Security, Medicare and lowering prescription drug prices in Hollandale, Florida, the liar-in-chief claimed he spoke to the man who invented insulin.
There’s only one problem. The main scientists credited for the discovery died before Biden was born.
“And, by the way, the guy who, in fact, invented the drug, founded it, patented — he decided not to patent it — I talked to him — because he wanted everybody to have access to it. So it’s not even patented. Anybody can make it,” he said.

These folks always come up with some bogus “personal story”: Hilary with the Mt Everest thing, Kamala attending Civil Rights parades as a baby with her parents, Biden talking to the guy who invented insulin or whatever. Do they think this gets them bona fides, or votes? Why don’t they just talk about whatever the facts are in the current political situation?

Steve Allen created TV series “Meeting of Minds” in which he “interviewed” historic figures.
Biden has just expanded that.
He thinks he’s interviewed Adam and Eve...and everyone since.
His time in office must be coming to an end soon, but who will break the news to him that he is not FDR?
Insulin was first developed by Banting and Best in labs at the University of Toronto in 1921-22. Biden was still just a theoretical construct at that point in time.
Maybe he met some medical researcher with some patents that involved insulin. I don’t know much about insulin not being diabetic or being close to anyone who is. I do know where the labs are because I was a student in that area back in the day, leftists were almost human that recently (half a century ago). It was sort of like now without the internet.

I just looked into this. Banting is the one who wanted it available to all the world, so he is the one Biden seems to be referring to. As the article suggests, he died a year before Biden was born.
On the other hand, there were collaborators, and one of them, Collip, died in 1965. I still think it’s unlikely that Biden ever talked with him. Maybe happened about the time of the fight with CornPop.
