Will he or won’t he? Pressure mounts on Biden for post-midterm decision

President Biden will face mounting pressure to announce his intentions about whether he will run for reelection immediately after the midterm elections — pretty much regardless of the outcome.

But pressure will only intensify, some Democrats say, if their candidates perform poorly on Nov. 8.

Here’s my prediction. He’ll run in ‘24. Whether he makes the decision, or it is made for him doesn’t matter. Being president is a huge ego boost for the people around him. Nobody around him wants to give up their closeness to power. And I’ll wager when he dies, and we finally know more about his finances we’ll find that he makes The Clinton Crime Family look like pickpockets.

It’s about the money and monetizing the positions of all the people behind him.

This is a weird situation. I sure can’t recall any other situations with a sitting president in recent history, besides LBJ in ‘68, who decided not to run for reelection. Usually it’s a given that an incumbent president will run for reelection, regardless of what happens in midterm elections.

And who knows what happens behind the scenes. It’s quite possible Joe is getting pressed by powers that be, behind the scenes, to exit stage right.

Jill and his handlers will decide on whether he runs in 2024. Joe, who thinks there are 54 states in the Union, is laser focused on what flavor of pudding he will be getting today.

For two years knowledgeable people have said President Biden will leave office after the mid-terms, so his successor could legally stay in office for 10 years.

It would be SWEET, if we got the House and Senate, stripped Pelosi of her gavel and also got Pedo Joe to not run in 2024 all over a few days time after the election :)

It’s going to be a great Christmas!

I disagree. He’s be primaried and can’t hide in the basement this time. Too many hungry and younger people. Harris and Buttigieg would give it a go, but they’re both so plainly deficient they couldn’t get the nomination. My moneys on Newsom.

He’s gotten much worse since being inaugurated. He won’t run because the party’s honchose wont let him. We’ve only been treated to this kabuki theater beachside he’s a lame duck in the day he announces he’s not running

“It’s quite possible Joe is getting pressed by powers that be, behind the scenes, to exit stage right.”

Then it will get really interesting. We will have Kamala Harris who will want to be the nominee in 2024. We usually have the VP run...Ford, Bush I, Al Gore, well, not Cheney because he didn’t stand a chance.

Then you have Gavin Newsom who is being pushed by CNN as the next leader of the Democrat Party.

So the Democrats somehow have to throw Kamala overboard to get their new “Silky Pony” in the White House. But Dems have the first “woman of color” who wants the job and they will replace her with a white guy?

How will this work?

> He’ll run in ‘24. <

My two cents: If Biden runs in 2024, it will be for the same reason the party bosses ran him in 2020: use his name recognition to beat a popular GOP nominee.

Imagine it’s the spring of 2024, and some nut like AOC is leading in the Democrat primary polls. In a case like that, Biden will be dusted off, and he’ll run again.

Well l think that was the plan but Harris is WAY worse than thought she would be. If possible she is even less popular than she was in 20. So there is no way they see her as POTUS for 10 years. They will have to find a way to take her off the board.

Pressure mounts on Biden for post-midterm decision

I'm sure Biden's wife and Ron Klain will tell him what his decision is any day now.
