Pelosi attack suspect David DePape was a psychotic homeless addict estranged from his pedophile lover & their children
NY Post ^ | October 29, 2022 | Michael Shellenberger

Journalists, en masse, agreed with their assessment.

[cut]

But DePape’s politics have little rhyme or reason. In past years DePape shared a post about Stephen Colbert’s 2006 roast of President George W. Bush at the White House Correspondents dinner; linked to videos of Disney films altered to make it look like the characters were swearing; and claimed, “Jesus is the anti-Christ” — not exactly a litany of right-wing tropes.

And, as I soon discovered, DePape lived with a notorious local nudist in a Berkeley home, complete with a Black Lives Matter sign in the window and an LGBT rainbow flag, emblazoned with a marijuana symbol, hanging from a tree. A closer look reveals the characteristics of a homeless encampment, or what Europeans call “an open drug scene.” In the driveway, there is a broken-down camper van. On the street is a yellow school bus, which neighbors said DePape occasionally stayed in. Both are filled with garbage typical of such structures in homeless encampments. People come and go from the house and the vehicles, neighbors say, in part to partake in the use of a potent psychedelic drug, ibogaine.

Neighbors described DePape as a homeless addict with politics that was, until recently, left-wing, but of secondary importance to his psychotic and paranoid behavior.

“What I know about the family is that they’re very radical activists,” said one of DePape’s neighbors, a woman who only gave her first name, Trish. “They seem very left. They are all about the Black Lives Matter movement. Gay pride. But they’re very detached from reality. They have called the cops on several of the neighbors, including us, claiming that we are plotting against them. It’s really weird to see that they are willing to be so aggressive toward somebody else who is also a lefty.”

"Of course, it could have been from the inside but the evidence does NOT exclude being broken from the outside."

No info if DePape suffered any cuts from doing that. There's been no mention whatsoever that I know of, regarding any injuries sustained by DePape during the incident.

"It would have triggered an alarm if he had entered through the broken window."

Aren't there security systems that will go off if a window is broken. No word if they had motion-detector lights, or motion-activated cameras, or just plain 24 hour surveillance cameras overseen by a human or humans.

"It is perfectly plausible that a drunk Pelosi forgot to turn on the alarm and that is why what should be a state of the art security system on their house didn’t go off."

If you were a multi-millionaire (who happened to be the Speaker of the House, and three breaths away from the Presidency, wouldn't you make sure that there was someone on your property 24/7 to batten down the the hatches, especially since you obviously can't trust your husband to stay out of trouble when you're away?

They took him to the hospital but yeah..no report on injuries to perp.

I honestly don’t see how this helps Dems for the election on Tuesday.

Are independents suddenly going to vote Dem because a crime ridden city has a homeless nut job break into Pelosi’s house?

It would seem to have the opposite effect. I suppose some will believe this ridiculous story that he is a right winger.

A logical person surely should understand there are some mighty big holes in this story

Some are theorizing that Pelosi tried to off him because he is a liability

I wouldn’t go that far but Dems have a problem on their hands with this guy

"He could have been having some kind of mental break..."

Yeah, when a liberal acts out, it's always caused by a mental breakdown or being under the influence of drugs, but when a Conservative walks into the Capitol Building after having the door opened for them, and waved in, they're labeled insurrectionists acting on behalf of President Trump.

Democrats always like to be seen as victims, and in this case, they're trying awful hard to make the guy as far-right looking as possible.

First, they targeted Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
Then, they targeted the Capitol.
Now, they’ve targeted the Pelosi family.

Political violence is a hallmark of the MAGA movement. We must put an end to it on November 8th.

Here’s my take on it:

He became paranoid and delusional from years of abusing psychoactive drugs. On top of that, he has a history of embracing various crackpot causes.

He has axes to grind against various public officials for failing to embrace his lunatic cause(s). Even for the loathsome Scott Weiner has brushed him aside.

He decides, in his paranoid and delusional state, to confront one of his oppressors: Nancy Pelosi. Security was low, or lower than usual, because Nanzi wasn’t there at the time. So he was able to enter the home by simply smashing through a window.

DePape finds Paul Pelosi in the home and starts ranting about “where’s Nancy?” Pauls makes some excuse that allows him to call 911 and alert the SFPD. The SFPD arrive, but before they can subdue DePape, he strikes Paul Pelosi on the skull with a hammer.

He wasn’t charged with breaking and entering either. This was a Grindr date gone awry. 🤣

How do we know that it wasn’t Paul Pelosi screaming, “Where’s Nancy? Where’s Nancy?”

Seems much more probable than the gay lover screaming it.

Great point!! Also, I can't find anything that he has been arraigned yet. According to California Law: "An arraignment must be held within 48 hours, not including weekends and holidays, if you’re in custody. If you’re out of custody, it may be held several weeks after you’ve been released from custody. It signifies that the prosecutor believes sufficient evidence exists to show you may have committed a crime and that a complaint has been filed."

Given that the incident occurred in the early hours of Friday morning, and the ensuing weekend, this guy should be arraigned sometime on Monday.

Also can't find anything reporting that Nazi flew home to be at her husband's side. Her whereabouts seems to be a mystery.

“I could see him going in his underwear.”

It might be plausible, but highly unlikely. Here is why. Where did he come from? How far did he walk? If this was supposed to be a few blocks, then maybe. I seen crazy before.

But if we are talking over a mile, it is highly unlikely. Did you hear if he had shoes on? Only thing I seen mention was underpants.

But I read that the phone was charging in the bathroom which is why Pelosi asked to use the bathroom. Then he supposedly called 911 and let the phone run.

I also read that the housekeeper called it in when she heard noises because she didn’t know Pelosi was home at the time. But that makes no sense because the police call recording says “RP says he doesn’t know the intruder, but his name is David and he’s a friend.” The dispatcher also commented that “The RP sounded confused.” How would the housekeeper know any of that since she wasn’t in contact with Pelosi? So it had to have been Pelosi who called it in. But why the changing stories?

I also read that Pelosi was tied up initially, which means at some point the perpetrator untied him and let him go potty unaccompanied. He was awfully accommodating to his victim, doncha think? And to think they expect us to believe this cockamamie story! 🤣

He lived in Berkeley. There would have had to be witnesses. None have come forward. He was either a Grindr date gone wrong or he was the passenger in the car Pelosi crashed in May which would indicate a long-term “friendship.” No way is it the story they’re trying to peddle.

They do have a wall, of all things, so the first thing the guy had to do was scale the wall in his underwear while carrying a hammer.

I am not going to put much in to “my friend.” Not that I’m a fan of the Pelosi fambly but if he was indeed in danger he may have tried to placate the perp by saying “my friend” is here hoping to not escalate the situation...

That is assuming it was a genuine break in.

But my gut feeling... It is a street boy toy Paul hired who was more insane than he expected.
