SEATTLE, Wash., October 28, 2022—In his condemnation of the today’s brutal attack of Paul Pelosi, husband to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Governor Jay Inslee attributed what he called “election denial” Republican candidates Tiffany Smiley, Matt Larkin, and Joe Kent with fueling political violence.
“What smoking is to cancer, election denial is to political violence,” Governor Inslee said at his 2:30 p.m. presser at Lakota Park in Federal Way today. “Tiffany Smiley, Matt Larkin, Joe Kent…they are enabling this election denial which foments this violence. They need to stand up. I’m calling on them to do so as Governor of the State of Washington.”
In a statement to the Lynnwood Times, the Tiffany Smiley campaign condemned Gov. Inslee’s remarks calling it “shameful and DIVISIVE.”
“Tiffany has been clear from the very beginning, that the President was legitimately elected,” campaign spokeswoman Elisa Carlson told the Lynnwood Times. “We condemn any political violence in the strongest terms. But for Patty Murray and Governor Inslee to say that Tiffany Smiley incites political violence is both shameful and DIVISIVE.
“Our campaign aims to UNITE Washingtonians around solutions for the issues that impact them the most – the skyrocketing inflation, the skyrocketing cost of gas and the crime that is taking over our cities and communities.”

Please there were THREE people in the house..some unknown person opened the door and let the cops in..this was no break in, heck the perp isnt even being charged with breaking and everything..so nice try commies, next time come up with a more sympathetic character instead of someone who made MILLIONS off of insider trading, killed his own brother, and drove drunk almost killing an innocent immigrant and tried fleeing the scene

Sounds like the attacker was a Dem, maybe the Gov should keep his own thugs in line.
While there is all kinds of talk about ‘attacker’ being a friend of Mr Pelousy, I wonder if he is really Nancy’s boy-toy, and Mr Pelousy is just taking the heat so no one will know the truth.
I am not reading every article and comment about the incident, life is too short.
I heard he could decide whether to blame the R’s or climate change. He flipped a coin, the R’s won.

After that Pelosi attack, Inslee’s going to need to declare a state of emergency.
The left has been playing this game for decades. Any violent act by a person who either is a conservative or happens to have a conservative-sounding position on an issue is said to be motivated by conservative rhetoric or a “climate of hate.” meanwhile, acts of violence on the left are NEVER blamed on the left’s rhetoric.
I can not imagine that Pa Pelosi would agree to get whacked by a hammer.
BUT, this sure does fit the Rahm Emmanuel dictum of "never let a serious crisis go to waste"
