WASHINGTON (AP) — The intruder who attacked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband in their San Francisco home was searching for the Democratic leader, shouting “Where is Nancy, where is Nancy?” before assaulting Paul Pelosi with a hammer.
That was a chilling echo of the chants during the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the Capitol, when rioters trying to stop Joe Biden’s election searched menacingly through the halls for the speaker.
The suspect was identified as David Depape, two of the people familiar with the matter told The Associated Press. He was in custody.

Pelosi apparently had a bunch of protests at her house over the past couple of years. And her house was vandalized several times. The protests were both from the Right and the Radical Left. It amazes me that she did not have better security. It was just a matter of time before some Leftwing or Rightwing lunatic did something like this.

It sounds like Paul and Nancy are married in name only. He hangs on the west coast partying with his friends and girlfriends... I guess thats why there wasn’t any security. He didn’t want anybody seeing what he was up to.

I just heard on the radio that the cops came to do some sort of wellness check and found the two men. Then the guy grabbed the hammer from Pelosi and attacked Pelosi, so they put a stop to it straight away.
