In this video I discuss the recent FALLS in Natural Gas prices and look at the reasons why European Demand is now decreasing. I also look at the European & Russian DEPENDENCY on Gas, the issues relating to conversion to LNG, what is happening with CONSUMER PRICES and what the WEATHER is forecast to be in Winter 2022. Finally I provide my view on the implications of the current situation for both Russia & the GLOBAL ECONOMY.
Oh, for heaven’s sake. Gasoline prices in the USA are subject to different factors than natural gas prices in Europe.
Well. Ok. You a meteorologist? It’s gonna be warmer winter in Europe because you’re writing their almanac? What’s the scoop Jackson? If you’re that good how are the folks in the NE US going to keep from freezing their asses off, when they are talking heating fuel rationing and diesel fuel shortages. Ever farm, drive a truck, cut fire wood, butcher a cow, or canned your own food? This can and probably will turn bad. Lot of stupid people may have issues. Good luck.
Ha— I have lived rural and cut firewood. Hunted twice w the neighbors. Grown veggies. In the burbs now with X number of fruit trees. And X is more than 10
Excellent, good luck.
Yes vatnik, being on the same latitude means you'll experience exactly the same weather, regardless of any other factor.
REEEEEEEEEE harder as even God in heaven sabotages the weather against your false Lord and Savior, Putin.
Putin Stooges Worst Affected
That revenue surge only lasts as long as gas prices stay very high, which they have not. Instead, they have recovered to about 100-108 Euros / MW-Hr. (Dutch TTF) That is still a bit high (not as high as Dec. 2021), but, IMO current prices are almost ideal: Prices are high enough to drive additional supply, but not so high as to cause economic collapses.
Is a fall from ~340 Euros / MW-Hr in late August to 100-108 Euros / MW-Hr now, a “collapse”? Russia is giving about a 30% discount to China and India, and it’s total gas export volume is much reduced. The New Year approaches. Your call.
Natural gas. Not gasoline. Sheesh.
Only in Putinist land is people not freezing to death bad news. The murderous swine would like to see dead frozen bodies just to score a point against “globo homo”.
Very true. Putin Stooges are a disgusting lot.
OK!
Stay calm
Trust in God
no sarcasm
Yeah, ain’t “my call,” cause time will real tell here but I know who will economically implode before Russia does....and that is not including Ukraine which has already economically imploded.
Gasoline prices are dependent on the price of oil, which is traded on the big world trading markets.
Oh yeah vatnik, the economic crap hole with third world style mass corruption at every level of society will definitely NOT implode before Europe.

You need to get your Russiophobia look at, mate.
As well as getting your emotions in check.

And this not including the US which arguably been in recession.
I see you are ignorant about weather patterns and the jet stream, too. This La Nina pattern that gives below normal cold winter weather in the North Central US also usually results in (overall) warmer than average winters in Europe. Essentially, this winter looks like it will be similar to last winter, whether you consult The Farmer’s Almanac, NWS, or the European weather forecasting services...
Natural gas and oil are getting less fungible every month. The Euro vs USA prices at the hubs show this. There is a Dutch/Euro prices hub and the Texas WTI prices hub.
Anyways, LNG tankers loitering off European import terminals looks auspiciously good to me. Putin’s winter freeze out plans are doomed. Barbarian Tsar, Russian loser/
Russians are so looter oriented. Their top men looted their military equipment stores. That now they must buy missiles and drones from Iran.
