I have always thought sucking that much energy out of the atmosphere would have deleterious effects besides chopping the birds…

interesting....also...think about solar farms and upsetting mother natures soil/sun relationship with sun/sun.

*** The fact that wind turbines are environmentally friendly was previously considered almost undisputed by the general public.***

Yes, just ask all the eagles and birds they’ve slaughtered about how environmentally friendly they are.

This is of course as much bs as carbon based global warming etc…

But it’s funny and should be used against the climate change cultists.

Global Warming has been so debunked it had to be replaced by Climate Change.

What you said.

You would have thought that with so many “greens” believing in “the butterfly affect” that they would have naturally assumed large wind farms would alter air and temperature conditions on the ground. Maybe they did but feared saying anything so as to not spoil their “renewables” agendas.

If we built them from NE Texas over to and through Florida we could dry it out a bit and have outdoor air conditioning.

Imagine all the people we could save from AGW. Im starting a 501, there has to be grant money out there somewhere.

What causes wind?
Why, it’s the trees waving back and forth that make the wind blow!
Did you really not know that?

Awesome idea! Should be worth a $5 million grant to study that...at least!

In WA state, they put up a literal Fanguard on the lower hills and mountains between the desert of E Wa, and W Wa. Wouldn’t the effect of the warmer winds off of the drier half of the state, be pushed down onto the cooler ocean air, trapping the daytime warm temps, and preventing night time cooling. That would raise the daytime temperatures and make the climate warmer in theory.

Ever since they went to solar farms and turbine farms here, it doesn’t seem to cool off at night in the manner of my younger days. It is markedly different since they put these in.
