Why?
He’ll be one of the first ones out and show himself to be nothing more than someone who rode coattails to get where he got.
He’d be better off positioning for the VP slot. But, he’s just another swamp creature who played the game for a bit.

Not a problem. If something were to happen to Trump and he had to pull out, we would need a replacement on the bench.
And Trump will need a Veep and running in the primary would build Mike's name recognition with voters.

I think our country would be under good leadership if anything were to happen to Trump.
But then I am biased to respect a guy who graduated first in class at West Point and actually served his military commitment before changing careers
