Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), a member of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, reacted to the news that the committee formally issued a subpoena to former President Trump on Friday with a pithy tweet.

Turnabout is fair play. Next year the Republicans need to start their own investigations into everything from Hunter to Covid. And all these actual Democrat criminals need to be put behind bars. They are responsible for who knows how many deaths and the impoverishment of our country.
