The old, crusty, grizzled, elitist political establishment is a thing of the past. Their days are numbered and dwindling fast. Even if they don’t yet realize it.
The Saturday morning headline blared from FoxNews.com, “Bold Prediction: Paul Ryan weighs in on the likelihood Trump will win GOP nomination in 2024.”
snip
“We all know he’s much more likely to lose the White House than anybody else running for president on our side of the aisle,” Ryan said in the piece. “So why would we want to go with that?”
as Ryan not seen the slate of Trump-backed candidates winning nominations across the country this year? Does he not see them lined up across the board, in an excellent position to beat their Democratic challengers in a few short weeks?
The GOP grassroots have eschewed establishment figures in favor of more MAGA options, such as Kari Lake in Arizona, J.D. Vance in Ohio and Harriet Hageman in Wyoming. Just to name a few. And these political outsiders very well might portend the looming fate of the ruling political establishment.
Dr. Steve Turley joined episode 297 of Inside the Numbers with the People’s Pundit on Friday, to discuss the growing populist sentiment sweeping the nation and world.
The program’s host, Richard Baris, began by asking about reports that President Joe Biden, in essence, asked the Saudis to help keep gas prices lower until after the U.S. presidential election.
“How would the media have reported this if it was Trump?” Baris asked his guest.
“Biden represents the wishes and the dreams of the permanent political class. He wasn’t speaking on behalf of himself. He was speaking on behalf of all the dolts in D.C.,” Turley said.

I think what he’s saying is, if the GOP nominates him again HE and the Democrats will cheat even more to ensure it doesn’t happen.
“on our side of the aisle”
I think a lot of people assume he means Republican/Democrat aisle here.
I think he really means establishment/people aisle.
They will not let Trump have a second term.
The Republirats are the establishment.
The Demicraps are evil.
This isn’t rocket science.
You can now return to surviving, if you planned well.
the man who won twice, is least likely to win again?
paul ryan really needs to spend more time with his xbox.
Don't say "we", you weasel.
You are not on my team.
We can see this at FreeRepublic in how the internet has given conservatives, libertarians, and like-minded people a kind of club or fraternity.
The same thing is happening (has happened) all over the world. Some of it is good, and some not so good.
As an aside, when I say not so good, I am thinking of the diary posted here of a young woman who was pushed by her online peers into believing she was "trans" when she actually wasn't. Online clubs and peer groups have the power for good or evil, of course, just like those of the past.
That aside, the Establishment is having a beatch of a time handling the transfer of power away from themselves and to people connected via the internet.
At last, we are onto what the Establishment has been doing in the dark.
As Trump has said, they (the Establishment and their media) aren't out to get him...they are out to get us, his supporters.
And we...we are now out to get the Establishment.
When we see the Left push its cancel culture in the old media, the social media, and Woke corporations like JP Morgan/Chase, we are merely seeing them resist the klieg lights of the NEW free media of the internet that cannot be controlled by them.
They are trying their best to kill free speech with their cancel-culture, but it won't work. The Left, like the Establishment, is also dead...but they are still moving about unaware, like zombies.
The Woking Dead.
Presidential election are all rigged…
Trump won because the media had Hillary winning at ninety percent…
They did not have enough fake ballots ready…
The GOP wants Trump gone more than the democrats
——President Joe Biden, in essence, asked the Saudis to help keep gas prices lower until after the U.S. presidential election.——
Last week Opec kicked President Biden’s ass when production targets were actually reduced. The Arab Opec members are in existential danger from Iran. Biden continues to seek a nuclear treaty
and place the Obama legacy as priority over them.
They collectively kicked his ass where it hurts, the coming election. They want support for the President Trump policies that ended the game that Biden and the Europeans seemingly are trying to play
It is NOT Populism, I hate what the ComDems are doing to language and the meaning of words.
In the distant past, Populism was a Leftist movement.
This is NOT.
It is about Freedom, honest government and the Rule of Law.
The left (especially the media) constantly distorts reality and fills “young heads full of mush”.
It is Time to #Restore_the_Constitution !
#Freedom_Works, #DC_does_Not !
It is TIME to #DownSized_DC !
And we...we are now out to get the Establishment.
********
We’ll see what the future brings. Change is and has
happened thru out the world over its history. Wish I
could be around to see the next quarter/half century.
Just a few observations:
1) The “vote for the republiCAN’T because...because...well, just because” crowd is growing smaller and smaller.
2) We are slowly, steadily destroying the bush league chamber of commerce worshiping republiCAN’Ts at the local level.
3) The so called “power brokers” no longer have any power to broker.
Here in michiganstan we have already removed these so called establishment republiCAN’Ts from power. This last convention to nominate lt. gov, sos, ag, etc. went so bad for them, not one of their preferred people got nominated. A large percentage of the so called “power brokers” literally took their toys and went home.
Don’t believe what the media is spreading.
We are winning.
Bigly

I agree. The primaries did not go as they expected this year. I live in New England, and the we collectively rejected “moderates” and nominated conservatives across the board. Whether they win or not is another question. But we are totally done with the pantywaist types. And it’s being reflected across the country.
They've probably always been rigged.
But now that we have cameras everywhere and the internet, it is getting harder and harder.
And the internet has the power to rile people up quickly.
The storming of the Bastille can occur quickly now that the word can spread at light speed.
The Establishment isn't ignorant of that. Neither is the legacy media.
Nailed it.
Yep.
Here’s a perfect example from the area north of the Columbia River and “Portlandia”, Washington 3rd District dumped GOPe Princess Jaime Herrera-Beutler and next month will be sending an America First Candidate Joe Kent to represent them in D.C.

Beautiful.......“Biden represents the wishes and the dreams of the permanent political class. He wasn’t speaking on behalf of himself. He was speaking on behalf of all the dolts in D.C.,” Turley said.
Nice wrap.
HE and the Democrats will cheat even more to ensure it doesn’t happen.
Beware of a sting operation cons do get coned last election opened many eyes and induced anger.
