MESA, AZ — Maricopa County’s top election official said he has seen reports that there was a group of people in the vicinity of a ballot drop box in Mesa watching voters drop off their ballots.
Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer said during a press conference on Thursday that he has heard reports and seen reports online that the group was in the vicinity of the Mesa drop box located at the juvenile courts building.
Richer did not elaborate on who the group is, but expressed concern if a voter becomes confronted, “Any attempt to deter, intimidate a lawful voter is unlawful, should be immediately reported, please to us, but also law enforcement.”
Mail-in ballots can be dropped off at any of the 12 open voting locations, or a United States Postal Service drop box as well.
Richer said there are cameras on the two ballot drop box locations they have.
There have been calls by activists across social media for volunteers to watch ballot drop box locations in different counties across Arizona. There are concerns about what the intentions would be, and how untrained groups would be watching.
If you are ever feeling unsafe, the first call always has to be to 911,” said Richer.
Richer, and other county officials hosted a second press conference in an effort of transparency around the election process in Maricopa County. The elections department plans to hold these opportunities weekly to provide timely information to voters, and so reporters can ask questions as well.
Richer said that the department received 500 emails to the general voter info inbox on Wednesday.
We’re told that nearly all emails had a response within 30 minutes, "so that's the type of customer service that we're focused on,” said Richer.
Excellent post there, cranked.
Maricopa County....they wouldn’t try to create a false flag incident would they? Would they?
Passing strange that no instructions given about what to do when we encounter an unlawful voter.
Just drop one ballot per voter in box and you will have no problem, if you are dropping piles of ballots in the box YOU ARE breaking the law, so stfu
how untrained groups would be watching.>>>>>>>>>>>>
You mean you have to be a “treained Leftist Democrat” to watch a ballot drop box?
So if you are “trained” and you see the same group of people dropping off hundreds of ballots repeatedly, you need to be trained to see that and understadmn whats going on?
Some one needs their a$$ pried open with a crow bar in order to insert a high capacity enema tube.
Video cameras require backup, i.e. independent human surveillance. Elsa they’ll be mysteriously “out-of-service” when ballot-stuffers arrive. It is Maricopa County, after all.
piece is wrongly dated. it is 13 Oct updated 14 Oct 2022.
phone 911? really.
talk about intimidating people concerned about election fraud.
Only Democrat pieces of excrement are concerned about people detecting fraud. You don’t need to be trained to take photos of someone dumping more than one ballot in a drop box. I do highly suggest some range time for what to do after taking the photo.
2000 Mules is the training film they watched... They are trained.
Yup......the best training vehicle.
Exactly. Get back to us when you stop that crap.
I have two words for you - 2000 Mules.
If you don't get it I can't help you.

The Role of Law Enforcement at Polling Places
Federal and state laws provide guidance on the roles that police (and other uniformed officers) can have at polling places on Election Day or during in-person early voting. These regulations are intended to prevent intimidation or interference with free elections.
State laws are varied, but in general, police may be present at polling places for the purpose of law enforcement. The table below provides statutory excerpts. In summary:
Five state affirmatively indicate that police officers shall be stationed at polling places or be on notice to appear if requested (Alabama, Arkansas, Massachusetts, New York and Wisconsin).
Sixteen states are silent on police at polling places (Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Vermont and Wyoming).
Twenty-nine states and the District of Columbia allow police to be requested, summoned or given permission to come to enforce the law or on official business (California, Connecticut, Washington, D.C., Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington and West Virginia).
The Republican federal government to be elected this season must address requiring P.O.’s to be present ant ALL polling places at ALL times.
That would easily outlaw any drop locations unaccompanied by law enforcement.
Of course, Democrats would oppose it: there are not enough cops to survey thousands of drop locations....and the Democrat socialists know it.
This MUST be made the nation’s law.
2 cents.
....uhhh, poll watchers?

If AZ. still has drop boxes; kiss the Az. Vote goodbye for the Republicans.
Glad to hear that observers are out to watch for a repeat of past, illegal ballot shenanigans. If that intimidates the cheaters, then it will have been a success.
