Jim warned us years ago when Obama was president that the FBI was constantly monitoring Free Republic for extremists and domestic terrorists. Holder put out several memos about it and then created FBI counter espionage units to entrap Americans who were “domestic terrorists.”
( Now we are surprised to learn that parents who protest their local school boards implementation of Racial Equity Theory activities are regarded as domestic terrorists. )
I suppose yu could ask Jim Rob, but for a while there the FBI was going to use search warrants to access FR servers. I think Jim was forced to come to an agreement with the FBI about surveilance of members.
