Putin should declare victory and have a parade in Moscow.
Putin should say he’s accomplished his goals and have a big celebration in Russia!
“Joe, pick up the phone!!!!”

Those who talk of there being a negotiated settlement with
Russian in control of a large portion of the Ukraine, not
to mention its natural resources, would be happy with that.
The fighting in the Ukraine will stop when the Ukrainians
decide to stop.
If the U.S. had been invaded, I would expect it to be the
U. S. Citizens who would decide when to stop fighting.
If he wants to pull his troops out and then celebrate a
so-called victory, I have no problem with it.
Biden still waved him in.
I know what Obama said but the truth is Obama could have said, Anything Joe can F up I can F up better, and been 110% correct.
Define an illegal war.
Was it legal when we bombed the shit out of Libya?
They didn’t attack us, and they’re still at civil war today.
How many do you think have died in that time?
“Some of Us Don’t Think the Russian Invasion Was “Aggression.” Here’s Why.”

“This war, at its foundation, was about Putin not wanting a nuclear armed superpower next door to it much like Russia in Cuba with missiles made us uneasy.”
Uh, he already had several, if by “nuclear armed superpower” you meant NATO. Ever hear of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia? Now he’s getting Finland to boot.
You’re enlisting, right?
I agree, if his goal is to become the Joe Biden of Russia this works.
Of course Putin wants to negotiate with Biden. He would mop the floor with diaper-pants.
The only settlement I can see that Ukraine and the West might accept would be Russia withdraws to its Feb 23 lines and pays Ukraine $300 billion out of the assets confiscated by the West for the rump republics in the east and Crimea. Ukraine gets Transnistria as well (no more bogus border disputes) and NATO membership.
More like a meeting between Russia’s Putin and America’s Putin.
Whataboutism will get you nowhere.
and Nope shouldnt have bombed libya.
happy?
I heard that. I heard that from the Madam of the same brothel Brandon frequents.
Putin has used the big stick for several days, now for the carrot. Doubt Zalenkyy wants carrots, he wants the store closed. Putin won’t just leave, and Ukraine wants pre 2014 borders restored. I think both sides will have to enjoy winter for a while before anything breaks for negotiations.
Who has worse problems? Russia wants soldiers to provide their own gear except for a uniform, a rifle, and maybe food. Ukraine knows that electricity can be bombed out. Does Russia have enoogh missiles to maintain infrastructure attacks this winter? Will Kerch Bridge continue to hold up with modified train and motor vehicle traffic? Will this allow enough materiel to support the Kherson occupation? How much damage caused to bridge by extensive oil train burning and sudden quenching with salt water? Possible brittle iron and cement from fire. Possible stupid carelessnes by bridge managers pushed to increase amount of critical arms and goods crossing into Crimea. Primary source for all supplies needed by Russian troops preserving hold on Kherson area.
I saw interesting video of inspection of large white truck believed to have caused explosion. Inspector spent 20 seconds walking from back of truck to front, then back. Then another 8 seconds opening rear truck door(s), looking inside while standing on bridge, and closing the door. Was this cursory inspection done because there was a 6 am shift change in 10 minutes or because there was a many ruble payoff? Sucks to be him whichever.
Ditto.
No, not really. I just find the US lecturing about war rather hypocritical.
I especially don’t care about Ukraine or Russia.
It’s Europe’s problem. Time for them to step up.
They’ve had a 77 year rebuild time.
Yep, that’s been done before
