Arizona Senate candidate Blake Masters (R) torched current Senator Mark Kelly (D) over his handling of the ongoing crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border as the state continues to feel the first effects of an open border.
Kelly stated during the debate last week his attention to the major problem has been there since day one. The Yuma Sector is one of the leading sectors when it comes to the number of encounters Border Patrol has with illegal immigrants. The Tucson Sector experiences a large number of illegal immigrants who are able to avoid apprehension from law enforcement.
"I've been focused on the border since day one of this job. I'm down there all the time. I was on the phone this week with Mayor Nicholls, of Yuma, Sheriff Dannels of Cochise County, talking about what more we need for Border Patrol and immigration...I've been focused on the border since day one," Kelly stated.
"To no great effect because we have a wide open southern border, so if that's the best you can do, I respectfully request you resign and let's get someone in the seat who will actually secure our border," Masters shot back.

Senator Kelly must be down at the border handing out Welcome Packets then!! He must be on the payroll of the drug cartels and human traffickers! Because that is who is benefiting from his gross incompetence in leadership!
I’ve read that Master’s had an excellent debate outperforming Kelly decisively.
Can anyone who watched it confirm?
Kelly does not represent Arizona. He represents Joe Biden and the DNC. There is no daylight between Biden and Kelly when it comes to his Senate votes, most of which are not within the interest of Az, especially when it comes to immigration and profligate spending bills

Lying is not actually doing anything about the border.
That Papa Oscar Sierra, Space Cadet Kelly reminds me so much of McCain. He’s trying to be a McCain. Six months out from the election, he morphs into Mr. Conservative of the Universe. After the election, he swerves back and makes a run to the left. A real fraud. I was an Arizonan until about four years ago. I had to completely quit voting for McCain. He kept pissing me off with his campaign behavior. I did not vote for him for president. When McCain was on the ballot, I left that box empty. I didn’t vote for anybody.
Being an astronaut is an amazing achievement. But it’s doesn’t mean su coin other endeavors. As we see here.
Not all ass-tro-naughts are necessarily brilliant. I’ve interfaced with more than a few over the years. Some are, some not.
