I saw the gas station down the street is back up to $5.90 after precipitously dropping to $4.50 over the end of the summer. I put one of my “I did that” stickers up each time I fill up, just as I put one at the supermarket upon the permanently empty shelves of staple foods

There’s little question that higher gas prices are bad for the president and his party, even as politicians exert little influence over them.

When Dem politicians declare war on the energy industry, shut down domestic pipelines, reduce areas for drilling etc. I'd say politicians, in this case DEMS, are entirely to blame for this energy crisis.

Wade is the biggest reason, the coinciding drop in gas prices surely didn’t hurt. But just as the party appeared primed to take advantage of that in the midterm elections, which are just a month away, the problem rears its ugly head again. And Democrats are clearly quite concerned.
