Remember how Congress passed that bUiLd bAcK bEttEr infrastructure bill that was supposed to overhaul all our aging roads and bridges?
I haven't seen a lot of rebuilt things, but I have seen a lot of politicians getting richer.

I've been through 3 hurricanes and know the pain. This is impressive.

He must have had foresight to stage the materials.

The Martha Vineyard gang should be on their knees thanking RD for flying them out of danger. Will be plenty of illegals lining up for the next flight to parts unknown.

Very impressive. He’s efficient, honest and people and businesses like him - a big secret in getting things done.

They’ll be slinging shingles and screwing drywall down in FL.

I hope RD goes after them and encourages American builders from other states to get some gainful employment.

"But the bridge was mostly fine anyway!"
Okay, I'd like to see you backfill a washed out road, clean up debris, perform engineering diagnostics on a bridge that was just hit by a hurricane, manage the logistics mere days after said hurricane, and do it all in half a week with the 5,972 government permits needed to do any gosh darn thing these days. ---------------------------------------
DeSantis is great... Florida's lucked out.

After the 1994 Northridge quake in Southern California the governor gave the builders (if I recall correctly) a $1 million bonus for every day they saved rebuilding highway bridges. I think the contracts called for 90 days, and if they did it in 70 days they made an extra $20 million on the deal.

Snails take 10 years to study.
I mean, look at The Big Dig ... snails, I’m sure that explains it.

There needs to be an “equity” study first! Don’t you know that simply re-building a bridge is anti-trans, anti-LGBTQWERTY, racist, and, and... and... everything! First they should pay $10,000,000 to a community organizer to do an “equity” study...
