Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced today that an executive with a Michigan-based company responsible for the software used in managing Los Angeles County election poll workers has been arrested as part of an investigation into the possible theft of personal identifying information of those workers.

It was stated.....Konnech was required to keep the data in the United States and only provide access to citizens and permanent residents but instead stored it on servers in ‘the People’s Republic of China’, ....the DA’s office said.
China connection reality!
Fellow worker: Gosh, somebody in handcuffs. Since when is stealing an election a crime for a Democrat?
Second: They’re arresting who?
Third: No, they’re arresting Yu.
Second: But I’m innocent.
Third: I know but Yu did it.
One thing we all know for sure, Gascon isn’t gong to do anything at all to help the case of any Republicans. So what’s up here?
lol
Everything leads back to Soros.
Probably figuring out a way to protect Yu behind the scenes
True the Vote Issues Statement Regarding the Arrest of Konnech CEO Eugene Yu
Sounds like Dominion
“True the Vote was sued last month by Konnech to try to silence our organization, including obtaining an ex-parte TRO, conducted in secret so that True the Vote had no opportunity to contest it. This TRO limited True the Vote’s ability to speak on the litigation.
Today Konnech CEO Eugene Yu was arrested based on alleged evidence of the very activities he and his organization attempted to suppress. Konnech was assisted by many reporters who unblinkingly accepted their now discredited claims as fact, and simply repeated them.”
That was my first thought also
heads up on konnech yu link posted by tired&retired upthread:

True the Vote Issues Statement Regarding the Arrest of Konnech CEO Eugene Yu
Is this the same Eugene Yu that was running for Congress in Georgia?
Someone posted the following comment on his campaign Facebook page..
“Why is Konnech (a company you founded) storing election data on a server in Wuhan?”
Prominent election deniers are facing growing legal trouble
September 20, 2022
Per the NPR propaganda article:
Konnech’s CEO immigrated to the U.S. from China in the 1980s and became an American citizen in 1997.
In the past, the executive of a relatively unknown company might have chosen to ignore such claims to try to deprive them of attention.
But in the wake of the conspiracy-fueled Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol, and in the era of QAnon and Pizzagate — bizarre and baseless theories that have contributed to very real violence — that strategy may no longer be tenable. The experience of the election technology company Dominion Voting Systems, which became the target of widespread conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, also underscored how wild claims could significantly damage a company’s business.
I searched the Michigan Department of State records and found that Eugene Yu started Konnich Corp.
Date of Incorporation in Michigan: 03/20/2002
By making the "arrest" he now initially controls the situation and will eventually "soften" up what actually happens to Yu in terms of prosecution.
I call it all, in advance, a bit of Kabuki theater.
Bombshell Article- please note who their clients are.. i.e. DeKalb County Ga elections.

Per the article:
Konnech is a small company based in East Lansing, Michigan. In 2020, it won a five-year, $2.9 million contract with LA County for software to track election worker schedules, training, payroll, and communications, according to the county registrar-recorder/county clerk, Dean C. Logan.
Konnech was required to keep the data in the United States and only provide access to citizens and permanent residents but instead stored it on servers in the People’s Republic of China, the DA’s office said.
Konnech previously said that all the data for its American customers were stored on servers in the United States, the New York Times reported Monday.
The paper reported that Konnech and Yu, who was born in China, became the target of claims by election conspiracy theorists that the company had secret ties to the Chinese Communist Party and had supplied information on 2 million poll workers.
There wasn’t any evidence to support those claims, but Yu received threats and went into hiding, the paper said.
Konnech also has contracts with Allen County, Indiana, and DeKalb County in Georgia, the Times said.
On its website, Konnech said it currently has 32 clients in North America.

How a Tiny Elections Company Became a Conspiracy Theory Target
Election deniers catapulted a Michigan firm with just 21 U.S. employees to the center of unfounded voter fraud claims, exposing it to vicious threats.
