On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” CNN Senior National Security Correspondent Alex Marquardt reported that the White House is “panicking” over the prospect that OPEC will cut oil production and is engaging in a “furious, last-ditch, wide-scale effort” to lobby against a production cut.

This is like a farmer who has 500 acres of corn growing and he begs other farmers to give him corn. Anyone who doubts Biden is completely brain dead needs only to look how he handles energy in the USA. Like my brother says, imagine Biden washing his face in the sink and he suddenly claims he is drowning. Well just lift your head out of the water idiot. But he won’t do it, he is just way too stupid.
Yep. Just praying the midterms aren’t fixed. If the Rats steal it, we are toast as a nation. All these illegals coming in are going to see US citizens migrating the other way
Two years ago, we were ‘energy independent’.
FJB
Weakness?
No. Deliberate, willful, destruction with malice aforethought.
If election was over they wouldn’t care…
Drove by my gas station this morning on the way to work, price of regular had jumped 25 cents a gallon overnight. Glad I filled up yesterday.
That stupid cunt of a potus. He shut down our petroleum industry. He owns this debacle.
OPEC tells Biden you want to see no oil looks like fool.
None of this would be happening if DT were still in office; stolen elections have consequences.
It only needs to work for about a month..
There were at record highs for us about 3 months ago, but prices began easing a little (still 2X November 2020 levels). But prices began going back up 3 weeks ago - with a 10% jump over the weekend, and now another 10 cents/gallon each week creeping back up.
The price of fuel in California is so much higher than the rest of the nation for a couple of rather obvious reasons:
- Taxes (California has the highest per-gallon fuel tax in the nation - currently over 57 cents/gallong (and that’s just the state part. (Federal is another 18.2 cents for gas/24.4 cents on diesel). Add in all the other forms of taxation on every aspect of business - and you have a rather large overhead that consumers will pay for.
- Regulations: California is one of the heaviest-regulated states, from storage, production/refining, and transportation, to general business regulation. Throw in the artificial labor cost...
dont i know it.. oh ya and the state back in july granted us peons a whole $300 in inflation reduction starting in OCT.. ya calif is so wonderful
Thanks, good luck.
And Gavin has been tweeting out that he is going to penalize Big Oil for their “windfall profits”... Because he claims this will bring prices down. Uh... the guy apparently failed economics class. Guess who pays 100% of the taxes on any corporation, Big Oil included - the consumers.
Newscum is a grade A moron just like his antie nancy
