Diplomacy. The US took a stance not to get involved with Putins decision, and encouraged Ukraine to explore NATO membership. Knowing that this would spark a real war, the US seem to be pushing Putin to really invade and Putin took the cue. And yes we are at war. We supply the arms, weapons, ordinance, satellite intel, advisors on the ground and have placed troops in 3 countries that are close enough to deploy at a moments notice into Ukraine. And we are in a war of economics against Russia, cutting them off from basic needs. We are at war.
Somebody with credibility and evidence will figure it out and make it known. I expect an act of retaliation will put a finger on the culprit. Doubtful a country would take that step without proof.
True , but there is no denying that Biden made the threat. He made it for all to see and in the presence of the German chancellor. Now maybe this is false flag by Putin to blame the US. Maybe Putin believes sending his oil to China will make up for the loss of the EU market. Maybe this is a third party, say Israel looking to raising the price of its NG now that it has a deal with Egypt to process and deliver LNG to EU. I doubt it5the Ukies. A couple days ago another pipeline bringing gas from Norway to Europe opened up. Then there were mass demonstrations in Germany demanding the German government open up Nordstream2. Then boom, the next day both pipelines are blown up. Just coincidental timing I suppose? Russia certainly had no reason to blow them up, on the contrary they were hoping to use it as leverage. It’s simple, the only country who gains from this is the US.
Not sure who you work for. But the fact of the matter is, we have troops US troops in Poland, we are guiding their drone strikes, we are providing intel, artillery, rockets, mines, ordinance, and military advisors on how to use it. We are bearing the financial cost of the war. We are at war.
