The late-blooming 2022 Atlantic Tropical Storm season is making up for lost time. A tropical system has developed in the Central Caribbean Sea. This storm system is forecast to threaten continental U.S. interests next week. While the tropical wave passed south of a key geographic area known as Hebert's Box #1, it will very likely pass through Hebert's Box #2. These boxes are useful as predictors of hurricanes that will strike South Florida. For more information about Hebert's Boxes, see Hebert Box. See graphic below which illustrated the Hebert's Boxes.

Than you so very much!!
That site just has the cone of improbability. No detailed map. I have radar that show current conditions but it would be great to find radar and show it over the next 48 hours
He’s going to have to go off the air soon he says.
Are you in a safe place?
Praying for your protection, and may you not lose everything.
“. Works for my daughter as well in Orlando. “
Ask your daughter how much sun is she seeing.
“We lost so many birds in Ida last year. Only partly recovered.”

Sorry to hear. Human lives affected-—first and pre-eminent , but I never considered how hurricanes could devastate a bird population until Ryan Hall mentioned birds taking refuge in the eye.
Looks like Naples and Ft Meriers
Have taken some of the worst impacts from the storm
I agree. They are great pretenders, just like Brandon is.
That comes in intermittently on my iphone which is what I’m relying on for info and internet with the power being out for 11 hours now.
Praying definitely helps! My wife just got word that her best friend is fine and apparently out of water. Her husband is the luckiest and stupidest man alive. He convinced his wife and 85 year old mother to ride this monster out in a one story house four blocks from the ocean on the border of Bonita Springs and Ft. Myers Beach.
That is amazing.
Good grief! They are indeed lucky--that is, if there isn't more damage to come.
I hope it stays that way! Prayers continue!
Apparently my wife’s friend lost cell service at 2:31. I did a map search of her address and found El Dorado Acres in Bonita Springs. This is a subdivision of all one story frames. When I saw the location I pretty much wrote all three off at 3:00. Scary, scary stuff. Praise God.
lol"
What I found funny was that he knew he had created a problem, and simply solved it in an instant. I said he was a new kitten - looking back I think he was 2 or 3 years old.
This was him during the same 18 day power outage (Frances/Jeanne). It was hot!:

Why do we have to goto the Daily Mail UK to get the best storm coverage going?
Couldn’t he US media take some notes or something on how to do storm reporting?
Thanks for the link. It was and is very informative.
