In December of 1776, General Washington and his small army were retreating back across New York, New Jersey, and into Pennsylvania. They were hungry, cold, and so lacking in necessities that many men were barefoot in freezing temperatures.
Why were they there? Because just five and a half months earlier, the Declaration of Independence had been signed. These men believed in those self-evident truths so much, they were willing to die for them — as Nathan Hale said, his only regret was that he had “but one life to lose for his country.”
As much as we might want to, we can’t ignore the fact that there’s still a massive faction of anti-American and anti-Trump operatives cozily nestled under the cover of the Big Top of the Republican circus. This is the very reason I argue against Big Tent politics, and demand ideological purity that adheres to the Constitution — we cannot act as cowards then claim it was only in the name of civility.
We’ve got Lindsey Graham, who just introduced “pro-life” legislation, but in reality the move would codify abortion into federal law so long as the murders took place before the 15th week of the child’s life; and then there’s Laura Ingraham, who recently showed her hand when she she said:
The country I think is so exhausted. They’re exhausted by the battle, the constant battle, that they may believe that, well maybe it’s time to turn the page if we can get someone who has all Trump’s policies, who’s not Trump.
Truly, the Swamp runs deep.
I know it’s easy to set our sights on the Democrats and the left (I do it all the time), because there’s no doubt they’re given over to demonic agendas —

and to be perfectly clear, I didn’t turn completely sour on the guy until very recently
when I found out what he did with the $250 million he raised for election integrity
that’s what’s paying for his lawyers and his big rallies - he stole the money, almost none of it went to election integrity
then I started to review the other things I gave him a pass on and realized he’s been doing us dirty for quite some time now
Trump remains the only politician who I’ve ever donated money to. His last year in office was a disaster. Much of it was beyond his control but some of it he brought on himself. Trump picked a fight with the Deep State and lost.
I’m told I need to support Trump in ‘24 so he can do all of the stuff he said he was going to do but didn’t the first time.
Or I can support Ron DeSantis who is doing all of these things now.
I’ll vote for Trump if he’s the nominee. I don’t think he’ll win. Until then, my support will be found elsewhere. At the end of the day, Trump is simply too old. He had his shot and here we are.
Trump will forever earn my gratitude for keeping Hillary Clinton out of the White House, his one accomplishment that hasn’t been erased.
not just DeSantis, though he is the most visible - Youngkin, Abbott, and others are taking the fight to the Left and winning in ways that it is inconceivable Trump could ever pull off
our next generation has leadership capable of winning over the middle while staying solid conservative - this is the best possible future for Americans and the sooner we get started the more likely it is to come to pass in reality
consider that the non-Trump GOP coalition that won Virginia won 12.5% more of the vote than the Trump coalition did a mere 12 months earlier
Our future is much larger than Trump and much more serious about both personnel and policy. Sooner we get there the less damage America will accumulate and the easier putting this Republic back together will be.

My biggest issue with Trump is age, or at least two years from now, when he's 78. No doubt, he currently has the stamina, but he should be more selective when he's directing fire at his enemy.
That's not going to happen, so I'll let the primaries play out.

The person who needs to do clean up is you, and the first thing you need to do is clean out the Clinton Ukraine war propaganda team, and the second thing you need to do is make sure that people who disrespect the heroes who saved your ass from Communism are not doing so with the FR brand.
