DeSantis gets standing ovation from GOP voters after flying migrants to Martha’s Vineyard

CNN — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, speaking in Kansas on Sunday, gave every indication he intends to capitalize on the latest wave of attention that has followed from him sending migrants to Massachusetts last week.

“This is a crisis. It’s now getting a little bit more attention,” DeSantis said, earning a standing ovation as he talked about the southern border and nodding to the headlines he instigated when he flew 50 migrants from the border to Martha’s Vineyard.

The reception DeSantis received in Kansas enforced the perception that last week’s ploy accomplished more than raising awareness for the border crisis or diverting migrants who may have eventually ended up in Florida (though none said that was their destination). It also expeditiously thrust the Republican leader, who’s running for reelection this fall, into the national spotlight as he weighs whether to run for president in 2024.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom, left, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Analysis: Ron DeSantis and Gavin Newsom debut the sensational politics of 2024 The rally in Kansas marked the fifth stop in a national blitz by DeSantis to boost a new generation of conservative candidates and test his political brand in a tour coordinated by the conservative group Turning Point Action.

DeSantis’ road trip mirrors the state-by-state rallies that former President Donald Trump is holding in battlegrounds ahead of the midterms and his expected foray into another bid for the White House, and it has served as a prelude to a hypothetical primary battle between the GOP’s two biggest names. On Saturday, Trump held a rally for Republican Senate nominee J.D. Vance in Youngstown, Ohio, where DeSantis dazzled a large crowd last month. From Olathe, Kansas, DeSantis is expected to travel to Green Bay to stump for Wisconsin GOP gubernatorial nominee Tim Michels, about 90 minutes...

Lindsey Graham; look and learn!
This is what a republican with the courage of his vision, plus a small helping of humor looks like, as he gives the Dems something to talk about.

Please governors if you read this this is what I post a little earlier. I hope you all don’t cave and I hope you have nerves of steel to continue!

“Please governor Abbott and DeSantis send those criminals released from the prison in Venezuela to Martha’s Vineyard! Please please please! If any community deserves the hideous hardened criminals from another country it would be Delaware , Martha’s Vineyard and the rest of the billionaires enclaves. It’s time that they start getting the brunt of invaders along with worrying for their privileged children safety the way we peasants feel for our children’s safety! It works both ways *itches!! Oh And while you’re at it governors bus invaders to the front doors of the fake mediapuke office buildings! That’ll really get them howling, moaning and *itching!”

Lindsey Graham would rather posit a bogus federal abortion ban to help keep the Dumb-O-Crats in power.

Well, hopefully, DeSantis will in that case take a cue from former Texas governor Rick Perry. Here is Rick's Travis County mug shot for his made-up crime:

Back in the 50’s, my father turned our driveway into a shuffleboard court, and an elderly Polish couple would often come over to join us in a game.
Every time they scored a point, they would celebrate by raising their first in the air and shouting:
“Right in the Fuhrer’s face!”
I shouted those exact words when Fox reported what DeSantis did!

Those elitist lefties have been living like royalty for too long. It’s time for that to stop. While they are at it, send some migrants to Gyorgy Soros. He should share in on the bounty.

“””“This is a crisis. It’s now getting a little bit more attention,” DeSantis said,”””

GOP candidates need to run on this three legged stool on Nov 8

illegal immigration
inflation
crime

DeSantis for a few thousand dollar expenditure just forced nationwide attention to one of those legs.

Here is a story that's comprised of two legs of that stool but I haven't seen much about it today.

At least two people were shot and "revelers" tried to pull cops out of their cars.

I have a feeling that no matter what Donald Trump has decided on whether he will or will not run for president again, I think he has already privately discussed this with DeSantis.
Maybe they have reached some sort of aggrement, maybe not.

But I think both already know what the other man plans to do or attempt. That is my hope anyway. Meanwhile, Trump can continue pretending to get mad at DeSantis for one thing or another for the time being. ‘Trump being Trump’, is what most will say.

Agree!

Cause them pain, make them hurt.

Then they will know how the citizens of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona feel.

Wait until Kari Lake becomes Governor. She will make Arizona the #1 example to follow. (And for the Left to hate)

I agree. Kari has a lot of issues in AZ to fix. It will be fun to watch her and others tackle the issues. If she does what we expect, Kari will be a major player.
