Glenn Youngkin reverses protections for transgender students
New York Post ^ | Sept 17 | By Kathianne Boniello

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin is reversing course on how the state deals with transgender students — issuing a requirement that they use bathrooms and locker rooms based on their biological sex.

The Republican rolled back changes made by his predecessor, which affected everything from bathroom usage to pronouns.

The rewritten rules, which will go into effect after a 30-day public comment period, also say that minors must be called by the names and pronouns listed on their official records — unless a parent give the OK for something else.

The “2022 Model Policies on the Privacy, Dignity, and Respect for all Students and Parents in Virginia’s Public Schools” was posted online Friday by the Virginia Department of Education.

The new policies stand in contrast to changes which took effect last year that allowed kids to use names, pronouns and bathrooms that aligned with their gender identity and urging schools to decide on a “case-by-case” basis whether to share information about student gender identity with their parents.

Good for him.

Of course there will be lots of blowback over this.

Good move. But this should never have been decreed by a governor to begin with. This is a legislative matter.

I had a feeling he would be good.

And I am so happy to see this.

So far, a great governor.

A good omen. It takes guts to go up against one of the woke communism’s pet rocks. Transgenderism is one of the more important segments of wokisms campaign to dismantle normality. Destruction of the normative under the false flag of civil rights is an important tactic in this battle. Trying to normalize perversion from early childhood supports the campaign to help queer the country and is a real payback to the queers for their massive donations to the woke party for many years. The queers won’t be satisfied until they can parade about openly masturbating and with their hands down the shorts of your grandsons.

Reversed or a return to sanity?

Yes, I expect the liberals will go on MSNBC and wail that this action is a crime against humanity. We will be told about how we are discriminatory towards trans youth.

Heck, Gavin Newsom may ban state travel and business with Virginia, as he has done with other states which he deemed to be bigoted against LGBT peoples.

You are right. Unfortunately nothing will ever be solid until proper laws are put in place, properly legally by legislature.

That goes for the presidency, too.

No. He was sworn into office January 2022. He’s more low key than De Santis but just as effective.
