Thank you for your hard work, Mr. Paxton!

They're also guilty of illegal political contributions-in-kind by censoring one side over the other. The members of their boards need to be arrested, charged, and forced to pay back every penny of such contributions going all the way back to their first illicit contributions in the 1990s.
Can we all identify as Texans to have the same protections?
First, the ruling is from a federal court regarding a Texas case but the logic pertains to first amendment rights so this would seem to be not limited to residents of Texas as the headline suggests.
Second, the ruling overturns the lower court injunction on the statute but “remands for further proceedings”. Not a lawyer but this sounds like they are saying “the law remains in force while the case works its way through the courts” as opposed to “the law is blocked until while the case works its way through the courts”. Lawyers, am I reading that right?
ah gee. This still wont quell the many Paxton haters on FR. s/
It would be great if this sets a precedent so big tech can’t do this in any state.
Thank you Ken Paxton for your hard work, staying on truth until you WIN!!!!
He already had my vote.
To all the little Commie sh!tstains shrieking about this ruling: plenty of people better than you have killed and died for the right to free speech. You ready to pick up a rifle and kill and die to take it from us? Or you gonna talk smack and expect someone else to take it from us? Nut up or shut up.
I have read through the whole decision. It is one of the most lucidly reasoned judicial decisions I can recall reading.
Judge Oldham deserves high praise from all freedom lovers, everywhere.
Given that the 11th Circuit recently issued a decision striking down a somewhat similar Florida statue, and the 5th Circuit specifically disagreed with some of the 11th Circuit’s reasoning, I think this creates a split among the Circuits such that this will likely wind up in the Supreme Court.
Thank you Mr. Attorney General.......you’ll have my vote once again and I look forward to you running and winning the Governorship in the near future!!!!
sure, use a VPN...
So any Fakebook users need to now immediately log into Fakebook, and change your location and address to Texas.
That makes sense. The question is if big tech will get a stay long enough to get through the midterms.
Probably but I can’t see any harm in removing the overreaching censorship they have been doing. Yes; I’ve been a victim of that nonsense too.
I doubt you are talking to anyone on FR.
Are you?
I hope so. Block censorship by big tech!
Ain't gonna happen so long as the companies continue to serve as DNC handmaidens.
“I doubt you are talking to anyone on FR.
Are you?”
Absolutely not. But I am aware others read this. So what’s it gonna be? Freedom of speech was important enough for my family to come here in 1776 to kill tyrant minions. Important enough for my Dad’s uncle to nuke two Japanese cities. Important enough for my Dad to flatten another city. Important enough for me to serve my country as a Marine to kill and die to protect our freedoms of speech and worship. They like to talk a lot of smack about expanding the courts etc. Okay, do something. Please. If you’re so brave to talk about taking my free speech rights, bring it to the streets and let us see how brave you are.
