The Las Vegas surgeon can lengthen patients' legs via a painful months-long process.
He breaks the thigh bones and inserts nails that are extended every day for three months.
A Las Vegas cosmetic surgeon who specializes in leg-lengthening procedures that can extend people's height by 3 to 6 inches told GQ magazine that many of his patients are tech workers.
Kevin Debiparshad founded LimbplastX Institute in 2016, and the clinic's business has boomed during the pandemic, he told GQ.
Here's how it works: The doctor breaks the patients' femurs, or thigh bones, and inserts metal nails into them that can be adjusted. The nails are extended a tiny bit every day for three months with a magnetic remote control, GQ reported.
It can take months to slowly lengthen the bones and for the legs to heal. One software engineer told GQ he spent the first three months after his surgery alone in his apartment and ordered delivery food during that time to go from 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9.
The procedure costs between $70,000 and $150,000, depending on whether the patient wants to grow 3, 4, 5, or 6 inches, GQ said.

At first l thought this was the Babylon Bee but l guess not. If you are putting yourself through this your problem is not your height.
If it’s women they are after, thinking being taller is the key they would be much more successful by extending other bodily extremities 3-6 inches into porn star range
It would be nice to be taller.
But not at this kind of price.
Learn to be happy with who you are.
You probably then have medical issues with your leg bones for life. Wouldn’t it be easier to wear lifts in your shoes?
In case anyone is wondering where this apparent fad came from, look no further than China, where young girls do this to ‘enhance their beauty’. Question is: can they meet the iPhone challenge is are they skinny enough to make their knees disappear under the phone.

If you go on dating sites, you will see that nearly all women no matter how obese have 3 minimum standards for dating that they will not violate. Men must be 6 feet tall, have 6 figure incomes, and have 6 pack abs as well as some other 6s. They have the income, so they are getting the height, though I imagine it will be hard that get the abs while you are gibbling about. I wonder what the long term effects will be when they get old.

I’m 6’ 2” and I wouldn’t want to be any taller. I have enough scars on my head from running into things. And sitting in coach would be even worse, since it’s the legs that are lengthened. No thanks.
