Sen. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) reportedly believes Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) only has a 40 percent chance of winning the House majority come November, contradicting the speaker’s claim that she will actually gain seats.
Speaking Monday night a restaurant with multiple Democrat Senators, Schumer estimated Pelosi’s House majority is “in trouble” and only gave her a 40 percent chance of retaining the chamber, Punchbowl News reported.

Because they are going to cheat. Anyone who thinks they won’t is going to be very disappointed. because it will be apparent to them that 2024 will be no different.
They will allow some wins, but they will keep control.
Since they can dump votes at the last second if this happens again the only way to call attention is if the other side has an equal amount of votes ready to go after their dump. Then the extra votes would cancel each other out or at the very least cause both sides to be looked with a fine tooth comb.
So Called “Red Wave” is only a GOP/MAGA Wet dream. Yes, they will take the House but the Progs and RINOs will control and block them with a narrow Democrap majority in the Senate. Biden will simply rule by decree with as much power as Putin has in Russia. Once election is done—all the forces of Progressivism will focus on getting rid of that pesky “Snowball” Donald Trump (1984 reference for those who didn’t read the book). They will target all non-RINO Republicans. Who will run against Biden/Harris in 24? Mike Pence and his running mate Mitt Romney (acceptable Republicans)—That or JEB Bush and his running mate Liz Cheney. All set up to lose. In the end the Deep State always wins. Boy, I hope I am wrong.
There are a number of young america firsters running. Although they will fight us for awhile longer I do not think the establishment will ever be able to depend upon ol status quo again.

Democrats do not worry. Linda Graham just proposed a bill to restrict abortions with a federal law. That will energize young weeeeeemane to flock to the polls.
I agree with your point that there are quite a few of America first types running, which of course is somewhat encouraging.
The thing that is discouraging is that the GOP has a well oiled machine awaiting their arrival in DC. Within weeks of their arrival their indoctrination and conversion begins.
Few people realize how effective the GOP is at flipping people. Example: It didn’t take them very long to convert the Tea Party bunch when they came to DC.
Trust me, the GOP is very good at doing this which is why we are repeatedly frustrated with the party. They know exactly how to control newly elected people and make them dependent on party “guidance” and financial support.

The gop never had to contend with a force like Trump, and more specifically the people behind him. It is now perfectly clear how the vast majority of rank & file, motivated to vote, feel about the grand old establishment party. When they set about trying to turn these new members I’m sure they’ll be thinking about that.
We need to take the majority in order to get anything done.
Dems feel the same way, but to such an extreme they’re willing to run a guy in PA who might have permanent brain damage.

If GOP voters started voting on the basis of results instead of rhetoric the party would be much more effective.
We really do need to hold office holders ACCOUNTABLE. Fail to produce and you’re gone. That would solve a lot of problems.

It better be good. Many of us are tired of false promises and being lied to. How do you have any confidence in a party that refuses to even defund NPR?
I don’t believe that voters expect miracles, but they do expect sincere effort to advance the conservative agenda and demonstrate resolve against Democrat radicalism.
Nobody has any idea what the GOP stands for right now.
