LONDON, September 9. /TASS/. Charles III will be formally proclaimed King of Great Britain on the morning of Saturday, September 10th. As follows from a statement released by the Buckingham Palace, the Accession Council will meet in session at St. James’s Palace in London on Saturday at 10:00 local time (12:00 Moscow time) to proclaim the son of Elizabeth II as the UK’s new ruler.
First, the Privy Council, an advisory body under the monarch, will meet in the main chambers of the palace. Its members will announce the accession of Charles III to the throne, although in fact he became king at the moment his mother passed away. Then the successor of Elizabeth II will join his council to conduct the meeting. According to a three-century-old tradition, His Majesty will take a single oath relating to the security of the Church of Scotland (such was the condition of the Anglo-Scottish Union of 1707). The oath concerning the Church of England, of which the British monarch is the Supreme Head, will be pronounced later in the Parliament building.

I’m surprised he is not taking a new name.
Side note to Charlie: You really should wear that hat to your coronation. It would up your standing with the peaceful invaders. So much so that they might keep your family on as puppets after they take over.
Hi.
Between you and me, I wouldn’t do the horizontal bop with the Queen Consort if it was 40 years ago

Britain’s first Eco-king.
“Proclaim to the realm the dangers of climate change! Do your duty to King and Country and renounce your petrol! It is decreed.”
Heaven help the British people.
Saturday morning is appropriate - that’s when they normally run cartoons.
Her Majesty’s chinless, slobbering son gives the WEF another Head of State to control.
So the guy who said he wanted to be a tampon to be closer to his mistress will now become head o his phony church. SMH
I can’t help thinking it’s time for somebody to give Charles III the George III treatment. Gibraltar, the Falklands, Bermuda, St. Helena, the Caymans. Who’s up for a little 1776?
While I can do a “God Save the King” shoutout to Charles, his mother is an extremely hard act to follow. “God Save Britain” is more appropriate.
And Northern Ireland at a time to be determined?
Your post: depressing but accurate.
Schwab and Soros are breaking out the champagne.
I think his pledge is to be “Defender of Faith” without “the”, as in not be an exclusivist in favor of the Church of England he is, technically, head of. It’s all this woke diversity stuff.
Charles is a self admitted descendent of Count Dracula and a yapping WEF chihuahua. He’s a worthy dignitary of Clown world.
I can see him being beheaded in an Islamic coup.
Maybe KC III will clam up now that he is king. He has a different and bigger role to fulfill now than hobnobbing with the Davos crowd and shady sheiks from the Persian Gulf. He will/should be doing what his government of the day asks him to do rather than what he wants to do.
Diana was a descendant of one of Charles II's illegitimate children.
Charles III's great-great-grandfather Francis of Teck (1837-1900) was apparently rather scandalous. Born from a morganatic marriage between a German duke and a Hungarian woman (who was given the title of countess) in Osijek (in what is now Croatia), he married Mary Adelaide of Cambridge, a granddaughter of George III, but he was a widower when he died--one of his children married the man who was later King George V. Officially he died in England, but rumors at the time claimed that he died in a brothel in Vienna.
See BS already has their blathering idiot anchor ditz over there breathlessly reporting. I couldn’t even watch the local news so I turned it OFF
It was easy
What he says is irrelevant. Look at what the new PM (Truss) is doing! Appointed a pro-fossil fuel energy minister (Moog) who says he will up output of the North Sea fields and will open up the UK for fracking. Whatever Charles III says about it will be at best (for the House of Windsor) ignored or at worse be damaging to him (and the continuance of the House of Windsor).
When I was working in Oz, my Ozite colleagues (I loved getting a rise out of them by calling them Ozites!) said after Elizabeth, Oz (Australia) would go republic. Let’s see if that happens!
