LONDON, September 9. /TASS/. Charles III will be formally proclaimed King of Great Britain on the morning of Saturday, September 10th. As follows from a statement released by the Buckingham Palace, the Accession Council will meet in session at St. James’s Palace in London on Saturday at 10:00 local time (12:00 Moscow time) to proclaim the son of Elizabeth II as the UK’s new ruler.

First, the Privy Council, an advisory body under the monarch, will meet in the main chambers of the palace. Its members will announce the accession of Charles III to the throne, although in fact he became king at the moment his mother passed away. Then the successor of Elizabeth II will join his council to conduct the meeting. According to a three-century-old tradition, His Majesty will take a single oath relating to the security of the Church of Scotland (such was the condition of the Anglo-Scottish Union of 1707). The oath concerning the Church of England, of which the British monarch is the Supreme Head, will be pronounced later in the Parliament building.

Wonderful that Australia would become a republic?
Why?

If it did what would be different?

Currently at least in theory the Governor-General could step in and stop Australia from going full climate looney. (He won’t though!) Without the Governor-General there wouldn’t be any even theoretical restraint on leftist lunacy.

For those who didn't know it, the young jug-eared Prince Charles was the inspiration for Mad Magazine's Alfred E. Neuman:

The Queen died from the vaccine that Prince Charles had her take..... Otherwise he would never be king.
She would have made 100 if not for the ‘jab’ !!

Prince William will off his father, the now King Charles then Prince Harry will off his brother Prince William. Been done before.

I'm not ignorant of the history of the English monarchy, Richard III, , his remains were found some years ago. Fantastic stroke of luck. “Luck is when preparation meets opportunity’’.

And archaeology. Seems accounts were correct of Richards' deformity, the curvature of his spinal column. And it appears he suffered grievous battle wounds to his skull. And Henry The Eighth. Who had a habit of lopping off his wives heads. Gave Britain a navy. He certainly did that. But we did chase them out of here- twice, so we could be the nation we are. Or perhaps were. We need to take back Congress. And impeach Biden.

I was referring to:

“Taxed and how! All to support a bunch of inbred lay abouts who have ‘’royal blood’’.”

The royal does not live off taxes. They receive a portion of the profits of assets they gave up long ago, Ref: Sovereign Grant.

“It’s a blood soaked one where the royals are concerned and we had to chase them out of here twice in order to have a country.

Remember “No taxation without representation”? Think PARLIMENT. The royals gave up power in 1760.

Two generations of my family damned near lost their lives in two world wars fighting for the Brits so please , don’t tell me about the Brits, over all I’m not too fond of them.”

How we entered those wars is not simply explained.

They were world wars. Don’t be sore at the Brits.

Prior to entering WWI Germany had begun unrestricted submarine warfare.

Ang Japan attacked us.

This still cracks me up all these years later.

King Arthur: The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. [singing stops] That is why I am your king.

Dennis: Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

Arthur: Be quiet!

Dennis: You can’t expect to wield supreme executive power just ‘cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!

Arthur: Shut up!

Dennis: I mean, if I went around saying I was an emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they’d put me away!

Arthur: [grabs Dennis] Shut up! Will you shut up?!

Not true.

Who are you going to believe, Wikipedia or your own lyin' eyes!

From the letter referenced there, it does appear that Chuckles was quite a bit defensive about the issue of his resemblance to Alfred E. Neuman.

Given his past, I’d almost say you are right but there is no contest between HIM and THIS bumbling, decrepit, demented, historic liar, pervert and non-worker of a pResident who stole an election and continues to be the figurehead of our devolvement into tyranny at the hands of global leftists. No contest, IMO

Someone should ask Chuck if he wrote that infamous letter to MAD Magazine (Chuck was 9 at the time) complaining about the resemblance.

The letter has supposedly been lost, and the identity of the sender was never confirmed.

How’s about it, Chuck. Did you write it?

The lout you’re talking about just has a better, more aggressive, more dangerous and reckless group of handlers. Before Slo Joe was stricken with senility he was pretty clever in rising to the top of a swamp full of killers. Charles has been a stupid braying jackass since day one. Biden was clever and wicked, now addle brained. Charles is just a gold plated idiot.

I don’t argue your point. My point is that OURS is far, far more dangerous because England, the UK whatever you want to call it is irretrievably LOST already. Just Muslim and invader ‘immigrants’ fighting over the scraps....

You’re talking world class stupid with this guy, Black Congressional Caucus level of idiocy. Even to the left he’s much too challenged to be entrusted with anything that could make him relatively dangerous.

Just make sure there is a good stock of Ravens at the Tower of London.

The Ravens of the Tower of London are a group of at least six captive ravens resident at the Tower of London. Their presence is traditionally believed to protect the Crown and the Tower; a superstition holds that "if the Tower of London ravens are lost or fly away, the Crown will fall and Britain with it.

Some historians, including the Tower's official historian, believe the "Tower's raven mythology is likely to be a Victorian flight of fantasy".

The earliest known reference to captive ravens at the Tower is an illustration from 1883.

Historically, wild ravens were common throughout Britain, even in towns; the Tower was within their natural range. When they were exterminated from much of their traditional range, including London, they could only exist at the Tower in captivity and with official support.

The Tower ravens are tended to by the Ravenmaster of the Yeomen Warders. Local legend puts the origin of the captive raven population at the time of King Charles II (reigned 1660–85)

The author of that letter, in fact, denied that Neuman and Charles were look alikes. The text of that letter:
Dear Sirs No it isn't a bit – not the least little bit like me. So jolly well stow it! See! Charles. P.

WP is correct that there were earlier jug-eared, gap-toothed cartoon kids. However, the Alfred E. Neuman version that debuted on Mad Magazine's issue #30 which appeared on news stands just before the 1956 election is certainly the likeness of Chuckles. The entire magazine from front to back is available online here:
Mad Magazine #30
They had a good reason to deny that it was based on the present English monarch, since they could have gotten sued for appropriating his likeness for commercial purposes. Austria-Hungary successfully sued a U.S. bank for using Emperor Franz Josef's image before WWI. Now that he is the king, he probably doesn't care about Mad Magazine, but don't expect them to admit anything until he's dead.
