Former President Donald Trump insisted that President Biden “must be insane, or suffering from late-stage dementia” for his attack accusing him and his MAGA supporters of being “a threat” to the country.
“Someone should explain to Joe Biden, slowly but passionately, that MAGA means, as powerfully as mere words can get, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump, 76, wrote soon after Biden’s Thursday night attack.
“If he doesn’t want to Make America Great Again, which through words, action, and thought, he doesn’t, then he certainly should not be representing the United States of America!”
The 45th commander-in-chief also warned of a possibly dark undercurrent in his successor’s speech, in which Biden spoke in front of a military band while repeatedly saying he “will not stand by and watch” Trump and his supporters return to power with their “extreme ideology.”
“If you look at the words and meaning of the awkward and angry Biden speech tonight, he threatened America, including with the possible use of military force,” Trump insisted in a second response on his Truth Social network.
“He must be insane, or suffering from late-stage dementia!” he wrote of Biden, who turns 80 later this year.
Biden’s speech Thursday at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall — an official, taxpayer-funded event ignored by most TV networks — came just days after he accused Trump’s backers of supporting “semi-fascism.”

I believe Biden’s speech undermines any complaints about Trump’s so called “mean” tweets.
Will there be a gesture to show our support? I have a suggestion.
Somebody should take Biden’s speech, and everywhere that he attacks republicans or MAGA republicans, change those words into democrats or progressives or communists or socialists, and use the word radical in front of them (ie: radical progressives), and the result should show where the real dangers to America lie.
And, a known republican (retired or not) should present that version of the speech. (Yeah, I know, the media will block it from social media and TV and radio, but, it will get out, one way or another.
Most of the time I believe we are living in a great big, SCRIPTED world, where everyone has a part to play. I fully believe we’re being had. Bamboozled. Played for fools by all three sides. The left, the RINOs and Trump. The world is a stage.
Biden reminds me of a monkey throwing dookie at people visiting the zoo.
I had the same thought last night, not that the world is a stage, but that all those you listed are actually on the same side and are just yanking our chains.
Insane is too kind, Donald.
Every word of Biden’s speech tonight was a lie. Every single word was projection. It was a clear and obvious attempt to incite violence.
They SWAT @RepMTG 3 times in a week. They firebomb and vandalize 21 pro-life pregnancy centers. They try to kill Justice Kavanaugh. And we’re the violent ones.
Joe Biden and the Democrats represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.
