It reminds me of an episode of Mission Impossible on TV, from season 1, “The Legend”.
The Mission Impossible team infiltrates a band of Nazis in South America, and finds their leader is apparently Martin Bormann.
Only it’s not, someone has made a mannequin up like Bormann in bed and has imitated Bormann’s voice, controlling the Nazis from behind the scenes.
At the end, the Mission Impossible group exposes him, and the last scene is of the guy backed up against a wall by the Nazis, begging “Let Me Be Your Fuhrer!”
Just as ineffectual as Dementia Joe looks tonight.

Exactly. They need to distract from his failures. They wil cite the “Inflation reduction Act” as a example of something he’s done and hope you don’t notice the 70-100+% increase in you grocery bill.

In January my local grocery store sold 4pk muffins for $3.99, it is now 8.49 or %115 increase.
A loaf of bread that was 1.79, now 3.49 or a %95 increase.
Breakfast danishes were 3.49 now 6.49 or 85% increase.
