President Donald Trump argued Monday that he should be declared the winner of the 2020 election, citing fraud and election interference by the FBI.
The former president pointed to reports that the FBI worked to bury the story about Hunter Biden’s laptop on social media right before the 2020 election.
“This is massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE at a level never seen before in our Country,” Trump wrote on social media.
Trump said the FBI purposefully tried to stop him from winning the 2020 election.
He proposed two solutions.
“REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!” Trump wrote.
It is unclear how a presidential election would be declared fraudulent and redone through the court system, and unclear whether it is even permissible by the Constitution.
Facebook’s founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed in an interview with podcaster Joe Rogan that the FBI warned his company of an imminent “dump” of “Russian propaganda” putting them on “high alert” right before the Hunter Biden laptop story broke in the days before the 2020 election.
The FBI did not deny Zuckerberg’s story.
Facebook censored the story as disinformation right before the 2020 election although it ultimately proved to be factual.
“Yeah. I mean, it sucks. I mean, it turned out after the fact, I mean the fact-checkers looked into it, no one was able to say it was false, right?” Zuckerberg admitted to Rogan. “So basically it had this period where it was getting less distribution.”

This is kind of ridiculous- but Trump is always smarter than a fox.
He knows this statement will do more to make the laptop story more prominent than anything else.
That is impossible if the last flagrant breach of election integrity went unanswered and unrectified.
Why WOULDN'T they do it again?

Another election ain’t gonna happen, but it is nice to see the FBI called out.
It’s now a death match, every lackey in the FBI, DOJ, and other assorted deep state orgs have to go all-in or their “careers” are done with if Trump get re-elected.
A nice to have would be some legislation barring the government from doing business with companies that have people on their boards (or management) that were fired for cause from government jobs.

I believe that Trump won the 2020 election, and did so quite handily. However, at this point in time, events have moved well beyond that. I think it would be best for Trump’s 2024 candidacy for him (and I WILL vote for him if he runs, which looks likely) to focus on all of the stuff that Biden is doing that is wrong, and what he would do to restore both order and hope to this nation and the world. He needs to look forward, not backwards.
Al Gore and Hillary Clinton both looked like fools for talking about how they believed that they were cheated for years and years afterwards. Perhaps Gore was, I don’t know, but Hillary was a loser. But neither looked good, and they completely tarnished whatever legacy they would otherwise have had, for not accepting what happened and moving on.

He won’t let it go. He does not understand that there is no legal or constitutional mechanism to overturn the election. You are absolutely correct that energy must be focused on seeing it does not happen again. Unless Pres Trump can understand this reality he should stand aside.
Exactly. Records show Trump collected over $250 million to ‘Stop the Steal’ yet all we’ve gotten are rallies and tweets.

Shockingly, we have signed off on iffy presidential elections before (Tilden / Hayes for instance).
So, unless you can find the votes to impeach and convict them, yes.

In this particular instance, he is like a dog chasing his own tail.
Because we make sure we have laws and law enforcement on our side.
If that won’t work, we drop incendiaries into the “collection boxes” to make sure the only votes that are counted are ones cast at polling places.
