For all the amazing benefits of the mRNA coronavirus vaccines, there are limitations. The effectiveness wanes. New variants evolve faster than shots can be adjusted. Destructive disinformation about their safety lingers. Yet, the vaccines are critical to battling disease and death — and that also goes for the next generation of boosters coming soon. Critics might raise fresh concerns about these new shots, and there are some things the public should know. But the latest booster, as with all the previous shots, promises to be a life raft in dangerous seas.

A large company in my small town does not require the vaxx anymore because they are having trouble hiring people.
What are those?
Yeah, it’s not even as bad as a flu. It whimpers away after a few days.
Never had a doubt in the beginning
Never a doubt
Trusted you true in the beginning
I loved you right through
Arm in arm we laughed like kids
At all the silly things we did
You made me promises, promises
Knowing I’d believe
Promises, promises
You knew you’d never keep
Second time around, I’m still believing
The words that you said
You said you’d always be here
“In love forever” still repeats in my head
You can’t finish what you start
If this is love it breaks my heart
You made me promises, promises
You knew you’d never keep
Promises, promises
Why do I believe?
Yeh, sure. 🙄
Just go cash your paycheck and hang your head in shame.
One of my favorite YouTube channels is Camping with Steve. Steve Wallis is a Canadian guy who goes stealth camping about once a week.
This weeks video was only four minutes long. A crying Steve Wallis paid tribute to his wife who died in her sleep one night this week.
Unexplained death rates are up drastically this year. The province of Alberta shows 3500 in 2022 vs 550 in 2020.
There is a real death toll to vaxxed people
The dissonance is strong at WaPO.
I agree with your assessment. There is no reason to vaccinate to the new strains. Perhaps some unusually vulnerable people should consider it, but as the pandemic has evolved as all others it is over.
“If you had only one shot, would you be considered 20% vaccinated after this booster comes out?”
Ask the vaxx fraudsters—they make up the &^%$ as they go along....
Full of colorful language wrapped around emotions does not mean anything. At what point do you stop and realize that constantly pumping yourself full of new “boosters” for the same virus might be a bad idea?
Just because you reject the data does not mean you are correct. The data show you are correct on assertions 1, and 2. Although the caveat is likely reduces transmission and disease. You are absolutely incorrect on 3, 4 and 5? Data demonstrate that during the worst strain (delta) vaccinated patients had substantially decreased risk of critical illness and death. 6,7,8 are typical assertions using the word may. That means that the individual should assess risks and make a decision based on his or her individual beliefs.
I work for the State of Texas, no shots required. My HMO is paid for with my Coast Guard retirement benefits and no requirement to get jabbed there so far. But once government pays for benefits they make the rules. And of course liberals think they are the rulers. So it is dang important to me to vote republican and accept the lesser of two evils.
There ought to be charges filed all over the US for forcing anyone to get the vax or lose their job.
I would not want the vax coming from the working of the person who wanted to kill mankind.
Well, just what did you expect of the Washington POS-t
NO THANKS!
I'll continue to stay PURE BLOOD.
I’m trying to figure out the new agent (“booster”).
I am in daily contact with COVID patients. I tick all the boxes predicting severe disease. I’ve had 3 Pfizer mRNA shots, last ten months ago. I have spike antibodies but not nucleocapsid antibodies (no prior infection), the spike antibodies are from the mRNA shots.
I never got a fourth shot. In fact, my work with the mRNA agents has led me to believe that debunking influenza vaccine is right around the corner.
But still - the recent NEJM paper looking only at >65 does show a very significant reduction in severe disease (hospital or death) vax vs no vax - and that’s using a Wuhan strain vax only.
So, I haven’t made up my mind about the Pfizer Wuhan + omicron shot. I take some of the concerns expressed here very seriously, but the nature of my work and my age pushes me WAY into the “think seriously about it” category.
