For all the amazing benefits of the mRNA coronavirus vaccines, there are limitations. The effectiveness wanes. New variants evolve faster than shots can be adjusted. Destructive disinformation about their safety lingers. Yet, the vaccines are critical to battling disease and death — and that also goes for the next generation of boosters coming soon. Critics might raise fresh concerns about these new shots, and there are some things the public should know. But the latest booster, as with all the previous shots, promises to be a life raft in dangerous seas.

Survivor bias enters into this equation. The people who suffered no ill effects believe there weren’t any, ignoring the dead and damaged whisked away with no reporting.
The people who are killed or damaged are told it was not due to the shot. Sudden death due to mysterious causes, certainly not due to the shot.
That while claiming that the virus was killing mostly the unvaxed, which is the opposite of the truth.
If you had only one shot, would you be considered 20% vaccinated after this booster comes out?

Agree. With one proviso. There’s a subtle difference between ‘misinformation’ and ‘disinformation.’ Misinformation still holds the possibility of unintentional dissemination of bad information. Disinformation is INTENTIONAL. This is them.

ps: I am a hospital pharmacist with 30 years experience. I took the first two Pfizer shots. Prior to this I had absolute faith in Pfizer, Astra, and other great pharmaceutical firms. My faith was misplaced. They are corrupt, colluded with the government, and they lied about the MRNA shot. If I knew then what I know now I would not have taken the shot. I myself did not suffer from the shot. Many have suffered and some died from the shot. I did catch omicron and it was mild. I now have good immunity until omicron changes to the new strain. The government wants me to take a booster for the original omicron that will be ineffective as the genome of covid changes rapidly. It will not work.
This makes me angrier and angrier each day.
It would be one thing if people wanted on their own initiative to gamble with their own health. I would be all for that to a degree.
It infuriates me that I will be forced to take this shot or lose my job. Makes me nearly white with anger.
What a shi**y position to be in. With that being said, no way would I take the shot. Another job can be had. My health is worth everything to me.
Same with my teacher friend who quit her 20 year teaching job here in NoCal. She absolutely loved her job and all her kids but her doctor told her she SHOULD NOT take the shot. She’s adopted and has no medical history and her doctor said she could not “in good faith” tell her to get the shot knowing that there are so many things that could go wrong. I personally know 3 people who got the clot shot and are sick all the time. They regret it big time. Don’t do it.
