But where is the usual “I’ll never vote for the lesser of two evils” crowd?

Times are different. Once the primaries are over, the die has been cast. Sure, the "lesser" will often anger us, but it's a better proposition than having a Democrat in that seat.

The grass roots is becoming far more active IMO. For example, there's a statewide organization called the True Texas Project, that lets incumbents know when we think they're straying. Additionally, it's had influence on changing up school boards...and they're just getting started.

The problem is

a) the Democrats never have to settle for "lesser"
b) other than Sinema and Manchin, the Democrats almost never have defections

Time to rock the Democrats on their heels so they are defending shrinking turf in a rigged system.

I agree with you. It’s just that normally, we have a ton of people saying how sick they are of voting for the lesser of two evils, they will never vote for a RINO, etc.. But there just seems to be much less of that in this particular instance.
