Decent people voting for Democrats time after time is what got them where. I used to think like you, “Decent people should leave.” But then i got to thinking “how did they get to where they are?” They didn’t just wake up one morning and there it was. No. It took them a long time of electing Democrat after Democrat to get there. So after all is said and done they brought it on themselves. They voted for it, Let them enjoy it.===========

We got along well when initially talking about the downsides of marijuana legalization, and another brief issue or two, and then disagreed over something else (I think vaccines). It got disagreeable for a while, but apologies were made. A lot of folks just can’t seem to bring themselves to do that, so it is a badge of honor in today’s society. So no hard feelings from me.
I respect you for your service in a dangerous public safety role, and generally wish more Freepers had such strength of character to disagree respectfully and be polite.
I had relatives who were big city cops, so I have heard tell of some of the lowlifes and nut jobs you encounter serving the public.
