The Democrats haven’t given up on political dynasties. Name recognition is a major draw for their voters. The fall of Republican dynasties may have more to do with those old families going over to the Democrats.

Then there are the 145 Bush Leaguers in the House that voted for Liz Cheney in Feb 20201.

We will know that Trump has toppled the elite bunch when McConnel is voted out as leader. The current reality is that Mitch wages war on any Republicans who won’t vote for him. The Senate , to Mitch , is his private club.
