Was he in a sole band? Jazz maybe?
It sounds like somebody thought standing on top of a geyser was a fun idea.
I’m guessing that he didn’t have time to register that feeling.
Reminds me of the motorcyclist who was in a head-on sideswipe with a semi. The entire left half of his body was sheared off, amazingly enough, not only did he survive, but today he's all right...
Probably was..................for about 5 seconds.................
There are supposed to be coves in southern Alaska that have a lot of the Japanese glass floats accumulate in them.
Yeah, when stories like this contain the word "dissolved" it usually doesn't get any happier from there.
So, it was a left foot?

Lake Mead is dried up so thems mafs had to find another dumping/dissolving ground

Please explain.
A multi year series of sneaker clad detached feet are being found on beaches in the pacific north west.
Original thought was there was a serial killer in the area.
It's been determined that the feet belonged to people committing suicide by jumping off local bridges.
Why only feet?
The sneakers act like floaties, and after crabs and other scavengers harvest the flesh and ligaments from the ankle, the foot and shoe float free and are swept into the ocean currents and deposited on nearby beaches.
I’m missing something with this story. Are there any footnotes?
Do Japanese fishermen still use glass floats? When I was young, people in Oregon would keep track of storms off the coast of Japan and go beachcombing for floats after a certain amount of time, like a year or so. One of my dad’s friends had quite a collection.
They stopped using glass some time ago. Apparently there are still some bobbing around out there. I’ve known of people that would hit a certain beach right after the first favorable weather event...a bit of hard-earned knowledge that they hold dear. My dad found one, and I found one, but we weren’t avid hunters.
Nope, not even a thumbnail..............
One lousy foot and they call you a cannibal.
The Big Bus movie.
As I read this story, playing in the background is Footloose by Kenny Loggins .
