REPUBLICANS PUSH BACK AGAINST IRS ARMING AGENTS

The IRS has received massive backlash from Republicans after setting specific requirements requiring new agents to be armed and use “deadly force.”

As previously reported by RSBN, IRS agents are expected to “maintain a level of fitness necessary to effectively respond to life-threatening situations” and “carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary.”

Agents must also “be willing and able to participate in arrests, execution of search warrants, and other dangerous assignments,” luring heavy criticism from Republicans.

The agency is seeking to hire 87,000 new agents after the Senate passed the Democrat-led Inflation Reduction Act, allocating $80 billion to the IRS. The alarming move prompted Republicans to warn middle-class families and small business owners that they would become targets of the agency, The Epoch Times reported.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, who introduced an amendment that would have struck the funding for new IRS agents, took to Twitter, saying, “HELL NO. Every Republican should pledge we WILL NOT FUND these 87k armed new IRS agents who will target the American people.”

In this case they could not stop it. The militarizing of the IRS was one of true purposes of this horrific bill

You said it!

Time and time again, they are nowhere to be found. Now the Dems ram through 87,000 new “agents” and the Repubs focus on a help wanted ad to arms some agents. Talk about being lured in and focusing on the wrong thing.

IRS agents were armed, along w/all other federal agencies, by Bush 2. After 9-11 the goal was to allow the FBI and ATF, originally the only armed agencies, to focus on terrorism.

There was actually a story a couple years after that about the department of commerce sending armed agents to a shop in florida that had illegal coral (protected species or something).

So all this junk should be thrown back to the FBI. Maybe then they wouldn’t have so much time to investigate parents that speak up at school board meetings.

At what point will the FIB be considered a terrorist group? Hows about the IRS?

War's over, Ted. You lost.

Won't matter anyway in the next Congress. Biden will still be holding the veto in his hip pocket.

As long as Mitch and Kevin are in the leadership, nothing will change.

The IRS does not need armed agents and millions of rounds of ammunition. What they need is:

2. Somebody to open the mail. At the beginning of this year's filing season, the IRS estimated it had 25 million pieces of unopened mail. I have not seen any progress reports on this since then.

3. Somebody to answer the phone, preferably in less than 10 rings, not 45 to 90 minutes.

What is # 1? A return by Congress and the Executive Branch to a realistic Internal Revenue Code, where the IRS is expected to be the collection and compliance agency for a means to fund government spending, not a welfare distribution front for all of the social engineering baked into the 1040.

You see since the swamp FBI and DOJ are a dying out RAT Institution they needed something new and fresh to replace that evil department. They’re coming for us! Us and our guns. And when we can’t pay our taxes they’re coming for everything we own! They cleaned out Trump they’ll clean us out too. Hmmmm ...Have you wondered who those 80,000 Brown shirts Gestapo hired employees will be? I have a damn good idea who’ll make their employment roster!

One of the reasons cited for this massive expansion of the IRS is to collect the estimated $300b+ in unpaid taxes.

This is their own fault.

Had a friend in the 90s who was a field auditor for IRS. He said there would be people owing $50k in unpaid taxes. He was authorized to settle. Sometimes he'd take $10k instead of the full $50k.

Asked him why? reply: better to get some than none.

Gubmint creates their own problems.

They were once on me for about 10K in taxes. I went to their office for a settlement meeting armed with records to back my case. However, they very quickly settled without looking at the records for $160 because they didn’t want to sit thru the time it would take for me to present my case.

This is the ONLY reason why the commie feddies are fighting to make gun ownership illegal for We the People. They need the gun manufacturers to get busy making 87,000 “Glock”, assault pistols for their new IRS Stormtrooper Raid units.
