After years of experience with german cars I am not impressed with their engineering. Overly complex and murphy-susceptible. The last really good German car was a 70s Mercedes. Today they are all money pits. Never keep a German car over 100K miles. They are made with cheap plastic and are terribly trouble prone.
Same with BMW motorcycles. The worst for major mechanical issues. Worse than Royal Enfield.
