President Biden and his family, including disgraced first son Hunter, are spending their summer vacation at a $20 million beachfront mansion in South Carolina, The Post has learned — and they’re not paying a dime.
The president recently asked prominent Democratic donor Maria Allwin — the widow of hedge fund founder James Allwin — if he could stay at her nine-bedroom Kiawah Island estate, a source close to the family told The Post.
“They stayed here before and they’re not paying,” the source said. “They’ve never paid. They’re just friends.”

Ok, perhaps I was getting Seabrook Island mixed up with Kiawah Island. I live 50 miles away and really hate to go there. Fortunately I have no reason to have to go there again. Why? I am not a beach person and those areas are over commercialized.
For instance, I was down at Hilton Head Island and wanted to park on the street for 15 minutes just to walk down to the beach to check it out. The city of Hilton Head Island had the streets posted so that I could not park there for that length of time without risking getting towed. I would have to have known someone and parked in their yard. Why would I risk getting towed in order to get hot and sandy? And my gosh, the traffic! It can take 2.5 hours for me to make the 50 mile trip.
As far as living in the Kiawah/Seabrook area, you are 50 minutes from Charleston and from anywhere. Not for me.
I’m sure FMV will be entered on his 1040, as income.
Even better, they can post a sign on the door:

I don’t think anyone lives on Kiawah. Those are houses where the ruling class goes to get away from you & me. It’s nice, though. If you’re willing to drive all the way out to the ocean course golf club, even you can have lunch with a stunning view of the dunes and the Atlantic ocean. When we were there, I think the secret service was up to something; my cell phone got seriously messed up. Be sure to check out the rest rooms at the gold club: with amenities like the ones they feature, you could practically live there.
Oh, yes. I’m sure it is really nice.
When at Hilton Head I got to visit this place called Wexford at Hilton Head. Very expensive place. Was amazed at how many people there seemed really friendly. The dining in the clubhouse was really swanky, and some of the people dressed for dinner and some really were casual. Waterway and marina came up into the neighborhood. Just not into boats myself. Very nice though, and fun to look around.

“Highly credible” whistleblowers have come forward to a senior Senate Republican alleging a widespread effort within the FBI to downplay or discredit negative information about President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, according to letters reviewed by CBS News.
“The information provided to my office involves concerns about the FBI’s receipt and use of derogatory information relating to Hunter Biden, and the FBI’s false portrayal of acquired evidence as disinformation,” GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley wrote FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland on July 25. “The volume and consistency of these allegations substantiate their credibility and necessitate this letter.”
Grassley, the ranking member on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said the whistleblowers alleged that legitimate streams of information and intelligence about the president’s son were characterized as likely disinformation or prematurely shut down leading up to the 2020 presidential election.
