The raid on Mar-a-Lago was based largely on information from an FBI confidential human source, one who was able to identify what classified documents former President Trump was still hiding and even the location of those documents, two senior government officials told Newsweek.

“If they knew what they were looking for, and where it was, why did it take 9 hours?”
Someone on radio said they used 216 man hours doing this. Our tax money at work.
“Or did Trump set a trap?”
Seems like maybe he did. What are the chances that his safe would be EMPTY? LOL!

Reinhart recused himself, however.
You might be right. The FBI trannies really like that white dress Melania wore to the Inaugural Balls.
That would be a great way to identify the untrustworthy in his group.
“They wanted to punctuate the fact that this was a routine law enforcement action, stripped of any political overtones, and yet”....somehow the press was there to document the totally non-political, fishing expedition and witch hunt.
The effort to keep the raid low-key failed:
I dont believe that at all. ANY MORON could have seen this being world news.
Another BS lie:
They wanted to punctuate the fact that this was a routine law enforcement action, stripped of any political overtones.
There is nothing routine about raiding a presidents house. NOTHING. never done.
These people are simply evil liars.
It really is a case of the Bureau misreading the impact.”
Oh for FFS, again, these people lie, lie, and lie.
Deep state is deep, what can you say?
“If they knew what they were looking for, and where it was, why did it take 9 hours?”
Probably because their “informant” told them the documents were in the safe, they cracked the safe, and found nothing. Instead of reassessing the situation and admitting then that their informant’s information was unreliable, and thus the information that predicated their probable cause for a search warrant was invalid, and leaving, they were probably furious and decided to search high and low for anything they could possibly claim justified the search.
As long as the National Archives has a copy of a document, the possession of a duplicate copy by Trump should not be an offense.
I would imagine Trump filled each box. Each box was then examined by a White House person, then a National Archives specialist. The Archives specialist then seal the box with an approved label and it would then go out in the next shipment to Florida.
Did Obama take copies of official records with him to write a book?
I’m 99.9999% sure he did.
“The National Archives are now crime busters?”
Probably the silliest part of the whole story. Trump delivers to them the records he is supposed to deliver, and they magically believe that he has more records that he isn’t giving them and that baseless supposition is enough to base a grand jury investigation on?
Give me a break.
Let me get my waders out; it’s getting DEEP in here. Snort!
Wouldn’t that be wonderful!
SOP
Democrat GESTAPO leaks to the Democrat propaganda arm.
“And if the president has authority to de-classify, then anything he has he can just say he declassified it.”
Yep, and he doesn’t have to fill out some form in triplicate to do it. So the onus is going to be on the government to somehow prove that he said “I declassify this” about any documents that were in his possession.
