The National Archives subsequently explained that much of the material should have been kept in the government’s possession, pursuant to the Presidential Records Act.
Isn’t he allowed to have copies of them even after he declassified them.

McCarthy is a douchebag, always has been. His one redeeming character is that he ultimately yields to reality.
If you read the article, you’ll see his argument for the headline, that maybe there is evidence the FIB found in the documents that shows that Trump knows that the 2020 election was not stolen.
