bullseye! If I were Trump, I would have made many copies of all these declassified documents, and put them in safe keeping, and perhaps gave a copy to Bannon, just for safe measure.

This is the theory that Mark Elias was retailing last night after news of the raid broke. He acknowledges that the constitution sets the qualifications for the office of the president, not Congress, but notes that it would be so cool if Trump “had to litigate this during a campaign.”
