EXCLUSIVE: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is hitting the campaign trail this month to headline Turning Point Action’s "Unite and Win" rallies in support of Trump-endorsed candidates.
DeSantis will travel to New Mexico, Arizona, Pennsylvania and Ohio this month in support of GOP candidates, including Ohio Republican candidate for Senate JD Vance, Pennsylvania's GOP gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano, Arizona Republican candidate for Senate Blake Masters and GOP nominee for governor Kari Lake.
Turning Point Action is hosting, and organizing the rallies with DeSantis in an effort to "unite" the Republican Party.

"Gov. DeSantis is America’s governor and one of the most popular leaders in America," Charlie Kirk, founder and president of Turning Point Action, told Fox News. "He has become the model for a new conservative movement that is willing to stand on principle and to actually fight on behalf of the values of his voters."
Kirk added: "That he is willing to throw the full weight of his support behind Kari, Blake, and JD tells you everything you need to know about these incredible candidates who I endorse and support 100%."

This man is a genius. He knows absolutely what he needs to do to position himself for the Presidency.
That Democrat would have been the better choice. Firstly, he wasn't so bad as Democrats go. He would only have lasted till the next election. Secondly, it would have sent the message that stabbing Republicans in the back will end your career.
Mitch has long been trying to undermine the Tea Party and every candidate they supported. He kept the Senate in session to deny Trump the ability to make recess appointments, and this compelled Trump to nominate horrible swamp creatures to run his government instead of people who might actually be loyal to Trump.

Do you recall seeing a thread here on Free Republic in which DeSantis said he was not going to run if Trump was running? There is a guy on another website that says he's searched for some such statement but hasn't been able to find one.

I don’t know if DeSantis has made a direct statement like that on video. I do know from multiple sources I believe that he has said that privately to his family, friends and advisors and has said it more than once.
I'm looking for some credible source on that statement. I told the guy on the other website that if I found one, I'd let him know.
He should go campaign for Hageman this week. Might like a stop in WY. Primary is not until the 16th.
